5 years later Scott has moved to new York and lives in hiding, dwelling still on Clint. He is in a abandon section in the subway he has learned that he can steal other people's powers and keep them but he is still not a big fan of killing people unless they are criminals like muggers and store robbers but he doesn't run into that often.
Carl:"do you hear that? It's screams of terror... beautiful music to our ears"
Scott:"I hear it and its not beautiful... Something bad is happening. We should see what's going on."
Carl:"why do you care so much about other people? Not like they have done anything for you. "
Scott : "its the right thing to do"
Carl:"no it what will get us killed! You are so soft and naive! You need to be a killer learn to strike first and strike hard ... Only the strong will survive"
Scott:"I know... But I'm still curious"
Scott makes his way up to the surface only to find a war zone between newyork and the alien race called the Chitauri (this is the battle of new york in the first avengers movie) a Chitauri lands in front of Scott firing his gun at Scott but it absorbs the energy blast and in a Goku like manner fires the same energy out of his hands back at the alien killing it. He see the avengers has it handled so he stays out of sight absorbing the life out of the aliens that go underground in the subway protecting a small group of people.
After the battle Scott has moved to the street looking for people that might need his help when he runs into hawkeye not recognizing him at first but he stops and looks at him
Hawkeye: "yes? Do I know you? "
Scott:scoffs "in fact you do Clint Burton."
There's a pause between them but hawkeye soon remembers
Hawkeye: "Scott siverson?... Long time no see"
(Carl can only be heard by scott)
Carl:" kill him! Kill him!!!!! Rip his head off!"
Scott:"shut up let me think!"
Hawkeye: "what?"
Scott:" I wasn't talking you!"
hawkeye: "then who were you talking to?"
Scott grabes a handful of his hair in each hand and growls in frustration
Scott: "EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP!!!!!"
Hawkeye: "no one is talking!"
At that moment Scott charges at him tackling him and grabs his face and starts absorbing his life be before he can kill him Scott is knocked out by captain America's sheild hitting his head.
