This game you play..
Break up poem by: Autumn Waldrop
The cursor blinked slower as I stared at the word
"Goodbye" is all I've ever heard
To hear it from you is what hurt the most
And the tears rolled down as my eyes were closed
Thinking back of when we were "us"
I used think it was just a crush
The nights we stayed up late to talk about whatever
Wishing the moments would last forever
The moments soon came to an end
And I lost my very special girlfriend
I loved you dear, as dear can get
My tears screaming its not over yet
But the pain seeping through my skin
Showed I could never win
The game you play? You call that love?
How do you win? Do You just give up?
You fall in love and then you lose..
To conquer love is a losers choose.
