Andy said there would be about half an hour drive to the place. We played another game of twenty questions on the way there, we agreed he could ask me questions on the way there and I would ask him questions on the way back. Sounded like a fair deal to me.
We already knew about each other’s background and family so the questions were fairly light-hearted. Andy established my favourite colour is a turquoise blue, I love to read and I love all kinds of music. He already knows I love john Mayer.
“So when you say all kinds of music do you mean all kinds?” he asked me.
“Well yeah, I love chart music such as The Wanted, Taylor swift, Bruno mars and all those sorts but then I love the killers, Mumford and sons, Fall out Boy,The 1975 and The Script but then JLS and even the backstreet boys and 5ive” I laugh “But then music such as whitesnake, def leppard and bon jovi are some of my all-time favourites as I grew up on that music really. I don’t really listen to opera but I can appreciate it, I bet you thing I’m so strange” I confessed with a giggle.
“No of course not” he laughed “I love it how you might not love all types of music but you can still listen to it and say that was amazing.”

Andy continued to quiz me about my life and my past for the rest of the car journey. They journey didn’t take long, about forty minutes. I’d gotten comfy in the front seat with my legs half crossed (stupid knee), and my shoes left in the foot well. He asked me about everything and anything; where I went to school, my favourite subject, my first concert, my first album, my times in college, everything. I happily answered all of his questions, simply happy that he actually wanted to find out more about me and who I am. But I wouldn’t forget that he owed me a round of questions today, starting with the shades.
Again Andy was wearing the same ray bans as last night. It was sunny and so they were justified but it seemed strange that I hadnn’t seen him without them…
Andy parked the car in a small carpark somewhere in the country side in a small village. Again he got out of the car and jogged round, helped me out and retrieved my crutches from the back seat.
“Here you go, you alright?” Andy asked with a smile as he held his arm round my waist whilst I got my crutches to make sure i didn’t fall. The touch of his arm around me made my heart pound. And yes in a good way. His touch seemed electric. I was completely aware of the way his fingers brush my back as he let go, igniting the sparks again.
“Yeah I’m fine thanks” I blushed fiddling with my crutches to try to hide the rising warmth in my cheeks. “So where are we for a start” I laughed, looking around at my surroundings.
We were stood in a small car park surrounded by rolling hills and fields. Across the road was a very steep hill up to the remains of a castle far above us. To our right stood buildings that seemed to be a visitor’s centre and more old shops and pubs lining the main road around us.
“It’s a small village called Castleton” He smiled as he started to walk towards the main road through the village. “Thought it would be nice to visit this small cafe i know and go for a drive”
“That sounds perfect” I smiled.
“Sorted then” Andy smiled as he put his hands into his jacket pockets and started to walk towards a small picturesque cafe just across the road.
………………………..
Andy held the door open for me as we entered the cafe and asked a waitress for a table for two. The woman directed us to a small window table and handed us menus.
