7.Breaking in

"You guys are sure you know the plan?" Laura rolled her eyes and Zander sighed
"Sweetheart we know the plan and there is no way we would be able to forget the plan since you've practically drilled it in our heads" Laura giggled and I glared at her
"Well it's not my fault that I need this to go exactly right, one mistake- it only takes one mistake and-
"Our lives would be over, the school could expel us, our parents would be involved and we would have gone through all that trouble and not get the book. WE KNOW!" They both finished together with exasperated looks on their faces
I chuckled "alright, alright you know the plan" I looked at my watch
"Is it time?" Laura looked at me biting her bottom lip. She was nervous.

" Yeah, time to go," we all stood up taking out separate keys from the table, I looked at Laura and grabbed her arm as we headed for the door "stop being nervous or try anyways, you can do this, I got you always remember?" She smiled and nodded.

"Sweetheart why is your living room light still on? I thought you said your mum goes to bed early" Zander turned to look at me. I pushed him aside to get a better glimpse of my house.

"Mum usually finds it hard to sleep when I'm not there even though I've told her countless of times that nothing will happen to me. It's not a big deal but we shouldn't start the car or your bike here, we'll just push it until we're far enough and then we'll be on our way"

"Cause it's just that simple."

"Shut up" I said turning to Zander

"You shut up"

"Great comeback" I smirked at him

"Why thank you" he smirked back

"That was a sarcastic comment you imbecile"

"I'm the-

"Will you both shut up! You're giving me a migraine." We both turned to see Laura massaging her temples

"Sorry" we both bowed our heads

"It's fine, now are we doing this or not?" She pushed past us and made her way to the car, stopped and looked at us expectantly.

"Okay I think it's safe to drive now, my back is killing me" I breathed in and stretched out. Laura copied my movements

"Agreed, let's drive now" she got into the drivers seat and put the car in gear.

"Wimps. The both of you" Zander shook his head and took off but not before I flipped him off. I jumped at Laura beeping her horn and got in.

"You guys are seriously going to have to deal with this sexual tension thing you have going on if we're going to work together. What? Don't look at me like that! Just kiss him or something or take off your top, flash him just do anything that will keep the tension at bay for a moment" she giggled at her suggestions

I shook my head at her even though one of those things were done but I refused to tell her that. "You're crazy you know that? Absolutely bonkers" her giggles turned into full blown laughter but it quickly stopped as she glanced at me

"Seriously though, sort it out. Whatever it is. You guys need to stop arguing, I have a feeling that we're going to be doing more of this sneak in and out thing so just try and ignore him"

I looked at her long and hard before nodding " I'll try but no promises, he can just-he just-he knows how to get under my skin and it's unnerving, I don't like it but because you're the best friend a girl could ask for I'll try." She gave me a huge grin before switching off the engine
"Good. We're here"

"Finally, I thought you'd never get here." Zanders voice reached us from where he stood near Stella. Laura gave me a look as I opened my mouth to retort, I closed it.
