"Hmmm, so not only do you come to my house forty minutes late but you also disobey my instruction of coming to meet me alone" Mr.Blueberry stood at the door, shoulders broad and arms crossed as he peaked at me from behind his glasses.

"Yeah, I mean well I'm late to your classes so I thought it was our thing, you know I come late you nag about me being late and I say I'm sorry won't happen again but then it does and the cycle repeats itself." I smile up at him but I don't know whether it was the straight face or the fact that you could see a pulse in his temples but he just didn't look amused.

"Our thing? We don't have a thing, you are just impossible"

"Meh, impossible just means that I make what seems to be hard to do easy thereby making everything I do possible, wow who knew having an uncle meant they'd pay you so many compliments, anyways are you gonna let us in or are we going to stand here and talk about how amazing I am because even though I wouldn't mind I know that you definitely would?" He looked at me for a moment and I swear his lip twitched upwards into a smile before he sighed and stepped back allowing us all in.

Leading us to the living room he gestured to the seats signalling us to sit down and we did. It was quite for a moment before he spoke

"I understand that you two are quite loyal to my niece here and seeing as you're here she's probably told you everything about our exchange and I'm also guessing you two were the ones that helped her steal the book from my classroom"
Laura fiddled with her hands in what I've come to know as guilt while Zander chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Come on, was it really stealing? I mean you're my uncle, I think I would like to use the term borrowed, at least that way I don't sound like a criminal, and yes Laura and Zander have been filled in, and I did tell them not to come tonight but they weren't having any of it and are here by their own free will. So can we get started now?"  I leaned back and avoided the grateful look sent my way from Laura.

"Yes, we can begin, what would you like to know?"

"I had a dream, which is-well was unusual because I never dreamt before, but in this dream it was like a prophecy there were so many people in a room, then there was a woman and she read out the prophecy and a man that looked-actually he looked a lot like you but at the same time not quite like you anyhow he looked like he was in charge. I guess what I'm asking is why did I dream that?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding till I finished my sentence before looking up.

"When a prophecy is read it is always read by that woman you saw in your dream we call her Lady Oriphia she is our version of a oracle. The man in charge the one that looked like me but not quite like me was the king, my brother and your father. The prophecy you heard about related to a child born of parents that defied a monster thrice. You see, your parents were one of the greatest rulers our world had seen, your father James was brave and kind, he always got himself into trouble very much like you actually and your mother Cora always found a way to get him out of said trouble, she was beautiful again like you, she was a fierce woman, she could only tolerate very little stupidity, it has always been a mystery to me why she would marry a stupid man when she couldn't tolerate it, but your father-James had a way with Cora like no one else, he could get her sometimes to join in with his stupidity and she even enjoyed it sometimes," Simon stopped and cracked a smile remembering them "Cora wasn't just fierce, no she was gentle, I had a nickname for her, I often called her Red or Flicker because she was in a way like a flame, just as hot, dangerous and if you got too close she could burn you and the mark she would leave would be a reminder not to cross her, believe me I got my own marks along with your dad and that taught both of us early on, she was also as gentle looking as a flame, entrancing. She could hold the attention of a room I'll tell you that. James and Cora they balanced each other out, they had found their own ying and yang in each other." I felt a tear fall onto my hands and it shocked me, I raised a hand to my face to find tears, I wiped them away and smiled at Simon to let him know I was okay. This was the first time I was hearing about my parents, my birth parents.
