this chapter is stupid & short & took me long enough to update. im sorry guys :'(

I played with the hem of my sweatshirt nervously. I can felt the sweat starting to form on my forehead. "Oh God," I muttered under my breath.

I've never been this nervous before. Where's the confident and sarcastic Alexis that I've known gone?

"Lexi." Someone breathed snapping me out of thought.

Before I could reply, I was already squeezed by three boys that I used to feel excited to talk about before.

"Get of me!" I squirmed in annoyed.

They slowly let go with a frown plastered on their faces.

"Why?" Michael pout his lips.

"We thought you misses us." Ashton added. "Yeah, we miss you too, Lexi." Calum pipped in.

"I never said that I miss you guys." I snapped.

Luke's face fell as I snapped at them. "We came for you, Lexi." Luke spoke for the first time.

"After months of leaving me all alone without an explanation?" I snorted.

"I don't even know why'd I agreed to meet you guys, today." I rolled my eyes as I stood up, ready to leave.

"Just to let you know, my dear brother, you're the best brother I could ask for. You've done a great job on breaking my heart." I swallowed my own saliva to prevent myself from crying. "I always thank you for that." I added and walked passed them leaving the four boys frowning.

You're so stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

I walked pointlessly to somewhere my legs brought me which happened to be my dad's house.

I glanced at my wrist watch and frowned. I've been walking for two hours straight.

Damn.

"Alexis, honey!" Someone greeted from the sidewalk.

I turned my body and smiled in delight as I saw Zayn walking towards me.

I squealed and ran to him for a hug. "You act like you just meet me for the first time." He chuckled.

"This is every girls dream, Malik." I playfully glared at him.

He raised his hands in surrender, "Fine, fine. I get it." He said and pulled me back in his embrace. "How's you doing?" He asked.

"Good." I lied.

"What are you doing here?" He asked again.

"Visiting my father." I replied.

He eyed me suspiciously before nodding, "You can meet your father and after that missy, I would like to have a word with you." He said.

I chuckled, "Who are you to orders me around?"

"I'm Mr Malik that you just hugged. No one hug me for free." He walked away swaying his hips to his house which was just across from my house that he rent a year ago.

"I'll be in my music room." He yelled.

"Whatever!" I yelled back.

I chuckled as he pulled out his tongue childishly at me. "Look like I don't have any choices."

I turned my body back facing my old house's door before timidly knocked it.

Once.

Twice.
