"I ummmm .............

I joined the Army"

I and every one else at the table gasped.

"Wow i mean its your choice"Roc said

"I see you defending our country and shit" Prince said

"Ayye well lets turn up while we can!" Ray said

I swallowed hard and crossed my legs and sat back in my seat. I felt like crying but at the same time being happy. I mean how would you feel if your brother was joining the army. Yeah he is going to make sure people here are safe but ......its so dangerous. I mean he's my big bro i don't want anything at all happening to him.

"Baby-girl?" He asked

"Huh?"

"Whats wrong?"

"N-Nothing just thinking imma go ask the kitchen if they could box up the rest of the umm cake" i half whispered as i took the cake to the back.

When i got back there i plopped down on an empty chair.

"Fuck...." I whispered .

"Im thinking way to much about this. I need to calm down man its not like we are a married couple.

But he's my BEST FRIEND he's my brother my R.O.D my chicken buddy my twerk team member. "

I chuckled at that last one and got up and started cutting up the cake into pieces for some people.

"I just dont want him to leave" i said out loud again

"Who?"

I jumped and accidentally cut my finger

"What the hell Roc" i said biting my lip cause the cut burned like hell.

"Oh sorry here lemme help." He put my hand under the water as he looked for sum band-aids

"I know how you feel. I dont want Prod to leave either all of us have been together ever since we went to boarding school together and he has been a big brother to all of us especially me since im a year younger than everyone like you. "

"Oww" i jumped when he put some alcohol on my cut

"Sorry *he laughed a little* but on the forreal though for us to be mad about him leaving and not wanting him to leave would be selfish. You should be happy he is fulfilling what he actually wants to do" he said as he put on the Band-aid

"Your right. * i chuckled * i was being a big baby by not being there for him."

"Your not the only one i wanted to pout and cry but ya know what ray said about us being grown ups" he laughed a little

"Well can you go get the decorations and bring them to my car?" I asked

"Yeah i'll go tell the other guys to help "

"Thanks Roc"

"No problem just holler if u need help"

"Ok"

He walked away and closed the door as i was cleaning up some of the cake i heard the door re-open an thought it was Roc cause i had my keys with me i turned around and almost fell.

"Oh here are th-MARK?!"
