Chapter 7

She lied down as she felt her hot cheek again.

"Am I falling for Seungcheol? As in, like-like?" Ashley thought. She shook her head and covered her head under a pillow
"I can't be falling for him! He's just an idol!" She said after lifting the pillow from her face.
"But then again..." She thought but shook her head and decided to sleep.

The next day, the members woke up early to get themselves ready for their comeback stage on Music Bank. They were nervous so they decided that on their way to the music broadcasting station, they would rehearse the song.

When they arrived, the members were greeted by the fans and they bowed and waved to them. Some even went to the fans to get the presents prepared by the fans.

They quickly went inside the building and went to the elevator to find their waiting room.

Ashley was there, helping the staff by steam ironing the stage outfits. The staff had told her that the outfits have to be perfect and no wrinkle in sight.

SEVENTEEN arrived after a few minutes and greeted Ashley with huge cheers. She greeted them with a smile and continued her errand. When she saw S.Coups at the back of the line, she avoided eye contact and blushed a bit. The leader was confused by her actions and decided to approach her.

"Ayeon? You okay?" He asked but she went to Jun and talked to him a bit. It was as if he was not there.
"Why is she avoiding me?" He thought to himself. Since she was busy helping Jun with his mic, S.Coups went to one of the seats to get his make-up ready.

Jun noticed it and looked at her.

"Why are you avoiding leadernim?" He asked and she just ignored the question. He called her several times but she was too focused in helping him wear his mic. He had it and took her wrists in his and made her look at him. She was surprised by the sudden movement.
"Ayeon, you didn't answer my question," Jun sternly said. She sighed as if she gave up and told him.
"I don't know. I just feel like I should avoid him for a while," She said and avoided eye contact with the boy.
"Do you ... perhaps ... like him?" Jun said, carefully. If he said it too fast, she might be surprised.
"I don't know but I think I do. I'm just gonna avoid him for a while. If my heart beats faster whenever I'm with him, then it's certain," She whispered at his ear.
"Ayeon, can you help the rest of the members with their mics?" One of the staff asked.
"Okay,"

She finished helping Jun with his mic and helped the rest of the members. Not much members needed help since they got help from the other members that were assigned in holding microphones.

After a few minutes, they were called for rehearsal and Ashley stayed inside the waiting room since she didn't want the fans to be shocked and jealous of how lucky she was to be with the group. She decided to clean up a bit since it was such a big mess.

While she was cleaning, she saw S.Coups' phone on the arm rest of the couch. She took it and saw a photo of her smiling at the camera. She remembered the photo from when they went to Japan for their Boys Be album photo shoot.

"He has me as his lock screen?" She asked herself. She saw that the phone was locked with a pin number.
"Let's see... maybe SEVENTEEN's debut date?" She asked herself and typed in 0526. It was incorrect.
"Maybe his birthday?" She asked and typed in 0808. It was also incorrect.
"Maybe... it's my birthday?" She was beginning to worry and typed in 0330 and the phone was unlocked. She saw the background photo and it was her. She was shocked and almost dropped the phone.
"Maybe... he likes me?" She asked herself again. She knew it was wrong but she was curious about what he has in his phone.

She looked through the gallery and saw that there was a file named after her. It had her photos with him and her alone.

"Does he really ... like me?" She said to herself. She heard from the television that they were already thanking the staff and fans so she quickly put the phone back to its original place and took her phone instead to act as if she did nothing but play with her phone.
"Ayeon~" Some of the members said and she greeted them.
