A New Beginning (CNCO)

Chapter 5

When we got to the door, there were 2 security guards, each one standing beside the entrance door. They asked for the 'code' to Sarah and she showed them something, but I wondered why there would be security guards at this party. We got in and it was packed by a lot of people our age. There wasn't any little kids nor old adults. I could guess the oldest was like 25 or something. A lady came up to us and offered us a drink, I said "A water bottle is fine please" and the rest picked a Coke.

The party seem pretty turnt because everyone was dancing, twerking and having a great time. I like dancing a lot, so I observed how the rest danced and suddenly I heard Sarah say, "Happy Birthday!" I turned around and she was hugging Erick.

It was getting too hot so I took a sip of water. Erick was hugging the rest of my cousins, but then I felt two hands touch my shoulders behind me so I turned around to see who it was and it was Joel. He said, "Wow! Bella you look beautiful today! I'm glad you could make it to the party." Then he gave me a hug, and I said, "Thank you Joel, you look nice today too!" I heard my name so I turned the other direction and it was Erick. "Hey Erick! Happy Birthday!" I said while hugging him. "Wow Bella you look wonderful today!" He said while giving me a smirk. "Thanks Erick, so do you!" I responded.

Then came along the rest of the guys. Richard came up to Sarah, hugged her and kissed her. Zabdiel and Christopher came up to me and my cousins and gave us a hug. Zabdiel asked me, "How long have you been here?"
"We just got here like 10 minutes ago!" I said. "Good! Cause the party is about to get better, especially with you here!" And he gave me a wink. I smiled and said, "We'll see."

We wanted to go take a seat for a while, but there were already taken so we just decided to started dancing. Sarah was dancing with Richard, so I couldn't ask her to dance, instead I asked Victoria. We were dancing "Ginza" by J Balvin, but then Joel and Zabdiel came up to us. They wanted to dance with us so we did. We were having a great time so far.

Then the song changed to "Eres Mia" by Romeo Santos. I got so excited because it was my favorite song ever!Then Joel came up to me and said, "Wanna dance" I said "Yes!" We were dancing close together and he said, "Bella! Tell me what you don't know because you dance great, you play soccer great and your so beautiful!" I chuckled and said, "Thanks Joel, I just really love dancing and playing soccer!" We were dancing to the melody of the song and he brought me closer to him. "I love this song so much!" I said. And he said, "I can tell and from now on its going to be my favorite song too!" Then Zabdiel said if we could trade partners, but Joel didn't want to, so I told him "Don't worry we can dance more songs throughout the night" and he said "Fine." And he gave my hand to Zabdiel and Zabdiel gave Victoria's hand to Joel.

We started to dance, and he said, "Bailas perfecto Mami" and he gave me a smirk. I said, "Thanks" and it didn't bother me when he said Mami because that's how Puertoricans talk. Then the song changed to "My Angel" by Prince Royce. We kept dancing and he said, "I'm glad I'm dancing this song with you because it fits perfect at the moment, your my angel" I chuckled and we kept dancing. More songs came up and we switched partners with Joel again.

Then "Borro Cassette" by Maluma came up which is another favorite song of mine. Soon enough everyone was dancing either by themselves or tweaking on their partner. Joel got behind me but I turned around quickly and told him, "Sorry Joel but I don't like to twerk a lot you know, only to my boyfriend but don't get me wrong we can still dance." He said, "I understand Bella." And we kept dancing and let me just tell you, this guy can really dance reggeaton. We were dancing close but not to much.

Then someone bumped into Joel that made him bumped into me and my heart skipped a beat. His face was so close to mine and we almost kissed but then a lady, who was at the middle of the dance floor said, "Can I get everyone's attention please!" And then Joel said, "Hey I have to go, but I have a surprise for you" and he gave me a kiss on the cheek and left.

I went up to Sarah who was alone. I asked, "Where's Richard?"
"He had to go but he'll be back."
"Oh, the same thing Joel told me."
The whole thing about security guards was still in my mind so I asked Sarah "Why were there security guards when we came in?"
"Oh it's because it's Ericks party and the rest of CNCO is here!"
"CN what? What is that?"
"Bella, are you serious right now? You don't know who CNCO is?"
"I'm serious and no I don't know"
"Well they are ..." Then the lady interrupted us and said through the microphone, "Everyone get ready because CNCO is here!" And everyone started to cheer loudly. You'll see Bella right now with your own eyes"
"Ok" I said and I payed attention to the floor. Is this the surprise Joel told me?

Then they all came to floor in a line all very well dressed. Wow they are artists! My eyes widen a little and then I spotted Joel looking at me. I blushed a little, but I looked at the rest of the guys. Richard was looking at Sarah the whole time. As soon as they got to the floor, Richard said, "I dedicated this song to my one and only girlfriend Sarah! Love you mi amor!" and he blew a kiss to her. I looked at her and she was cheering on him and blew a kiss at him too.

The song began. I looked at all of them. They were all dancing and people were recording. I didn't want to miss anything so I payed close attention. Now I know why there are security guards and what CNCO is. They each had a solo part and I liked all of them especially Joel's and Erick's. Their moves were adorable. When Joel's part came, he was looking at me the whole time as well as Erick and Zabdiel. I blushed a little. When the song finished, Joel came up to me and said, "Did you liked the surprise?"
"Yes I did, I didn't expect you to be an artist"
"Well now you know, I was going to tell you earlier but I decided to make it a surprise. The song was called 'Devuelvame mi Corazon.'" I hugged him and he did too.

The party kept going and they put on a lot of different type of music. I had the pleasure to dance with all 5 guys and it was great. It was around 12:30am that people started to leave. I still kept dancing until 1 because almost everyone was gone expect my cousins and the 5 guys. I sat down, but then Sarah said, "Everyone come over, let's make a circle." So I had to walk toward where she was. "I have an idea" she said. "Since it is only the 10 of us, why don't we play truth or dare?"
