Chapter 11

Karen left to the opposite direction and I turned around to face Joel. "So! What is that you wanted to show me?" I asked curiously. "Ok close your eyes it's in my backpack." He said. Why would I close my eyes? I asked myself. "If I close my eyes it better be something good!" I said teasing him. I closed my eyes and waited for him to tell me to open them. I tried to peak a little but he  noticed me and said "I can see you looking, now close your eyes please." I smiled and closed my eyes tightly.

I waited and said "Ok hu..." Then I felt two smooth, soft lips smack against mine that made me shut up. I opened my eyes quickly and I backed away from him and said upsetly "Why did you do that?" "Because you said you wanted something good and don't deny it, that was good right? Even though it lasted for a second." And he made a smirk. "Whatever! So that was it? You lied. Wow. Ok." "Haha I'm just kidding that was a bonus. This is what I wanted to show you." And he pulled out a small plastic bag with two blunts inside. He brought his back bag closer to me to see and he opened the small bag. "Ah. But why would you have this at school and I never knew you smoked?"
"Haha I don't, but I don't mind trying it? And do you smoke?" He said looking straight at me in the eyes.
"Ah I see and nope, I've only tried the hookah back in Houston at a party."
"Oh really? Me too only once though."
"Well anyways someone gave it to me because they wanted me to try it and I was wondering if you wanted to do it with me?" "Oh um, I don't know about that." I said quietly. "Your lame." He said teasing me while putting it back in his bookbag. I squinted my eyes at him and made a serious face. "Really? Says the one who hasn't tried it before?" "Ok we both lame then" he said smiling. I giggled and smiled.

I browsed around and then I spotted Erick with Jenny talking from a great far distance away. I looked away quickly so Joel wouldn't notice that I had spotted them. "So you want to walk around?" "Yes of course I would love that!" We kept walking away from where Erick and Jenny were. 'Do they go out?' Kept lingering in my mind.
"So do you want to still do it after school?" "Umm, yeah sure just a little bit though."

Our school day finished and I met Joel at the carpool line because we were going home together. I wasn't nervous at all to smoke with him because I trusted him. I don't know why but I just had this feeling inside me telling me that he's a nice guy and that I should trust him. "Let's go to my place, there's no one there." He said while putting his arm gently around my shields and bringing him closer to me.  "Ok but let me drop off my bookbag and we'll go." "Sounds great." And he made his great beautiful smile. I looked down and bit my lip because it just looked so hot when he smiled.

I dropped my bag on my bed and put on some perfum to smell flawless. I met him on my doorsteps and headed towards his back yard. He got the two blunts out from his bookbag and handed me over one. "I'll go first!" Joel said trying to sound brave. "Ha ok go ahead!" I said looking at his shaking hands. "Your scared haha!" I said teasing him. "No I'm not. Look." And I watched him raising his hand towards his face slowly. And boom, he took his first hit. He inhaled closing his eyes and seconds later exhaled all of it right in front of me so I moved away as fast as I could. "Haha not bad Joel." Nodding my head.
"Dam Bella, that shit felt good! Now you go." He said feeling relaxed. "Ok I'll go!" And I put the blunt in my mouth and took a hit. I inhaled for a few seconds and released it out. "Haha" Joel said pointing at me. "How you feel!" "Nothing really." I said looking at the blunt. "Just wait for it, it will hit you in no time."

We kept taking hits and laughing a lot that I couldn't breath no more. Both of our eyes got red and small. We were having so much fun that time flew by fast. Joel's phone ringed and we tried to calm down. "Who is it?" I asked trying to remove my hair from my face to see him. "It's Erick, hold up let me answer." I nodded in response. "Hey bro what's up?" They kept talking and I remained silent until Joel would hung up. "He said he's on his way here!" He said while raising his perfectly shaped eyebrows. "Oh shit! Really! I have to go then, I can't be smelling like this!"
"Me neither." He said while taking his last hit. We threw the rest of our blunts away and Joel said "I'll text you when Erick leaves." I said "Ok" and hugged him. He said "Be careful, don't fall." And I giggled while my head was against his chest. He grabbed my neck and brought his face close to mine. I couldn't resist looking at his lips no more so I rushed over to his lips and kissed him. I didn't realized what I was doing until I heard someone coughed twice loudly behind us.
