Hey everyone! I'm so so so sorry I haven't been updating!!! I literally had six projects due before spring break, two tests, and I've had to take care of my newborn nephew all the time and I've just hated this semester of sophomore year. The first one was a piece of cake but then my teachers just started giving tons of packets and projects. On top of all that, it takes me 3-4 hours to finish writing one chapter. I really am sorry, though.

I walked through the dense trees and bushes, trying to find my way through it. Its already dark and I still haven't found camp. All I see are trees.

The distant sound of night animals travel through the air. My hands are numb form the cold. I experience a cold feeling of dread at the thought of searching all night while thinking about all kinds of terrible animals lurking behind the bushes.

Suddenly, I hear the cracking of leaves. I know they're human feet not animal's. Right when the sound gets a feet away from me, I panic and kick blindly in the dark forest. I make contact with something and hear a grunt of pain.

"What the...?"

I recognize the voice as Oliver's.

I sigh, relieve, "Why are you following me? Do you how how creepy that is?" My voice is shaking more from the cold than fear.

He rubs the on his arm where I kicked him, "What are you getting mat at me fro? When I opened the door for you, I didn't mean for you to go on your own and by the time I realized it were already gone. I've been looking for you all this time. You don't know how dangerous it is wandering in the forest all by yourself."

I glare at him, "One thing you should know about me: I'm not a damsel in distress!"

"Sure didn't look like it," Olive mutters.

"What's that supposed to mean? I can take care of myself!"

"Shhh! I know, I know, okay? I know you can take care of yourself perfectly fine, but right now we really need to be quiet."

"Why?" I ask.

I hear him sigh in frustration, "I see your as stubborn as you ever were."

"Wait, you know me?" How? I knew you looked familiar." I try to rack my brain for where I might have seen him but its blank.

"Never mind that now, we need to hurry." His voice is rushed as if something's about to jump at us at any moment.

There's a rustling of leaves behind us. Oliver sharply turns his head in the direction. He grabs my hand in a deathly grip and, for reasons I can't fathom, we run as fast as we can with Oliver guiding me through the dark. After half an hour of endless running we reach camp. By the time we reach the cabins the lights are all off. It must be past 11 o clock because that's the curfew. We keep in the shadows of the trees so we won't be spotted by the harpies. I have a hundred questions swimming in my head but I don't even know where to begin.

Then I think about how much trouble I'll be in tomorrow. I'll probably have to do a years worth of stable cleaning, and this time Jason won't be with me. Jason! Instantaneously I look over at the Zeus cabin. The lights are off. I take one step forwards towards the cabin when a hand holds me back.

"Let go."

He doesn't, Oliver just stairs at me knowingly.

I sigh, "Look, this has been a really confusing day and I need to go because your not answering any of my questions any time soon."

"I'll answer your questions. All of them. But please...just stay for now."

"Okay, first off, where have we met before?"

Oliver leans against a tree, his hands in his jean pockets, "Well, we met in London when your dad had a role in a move there. I was ten and you were eight back then. I remember first seeing you on a rainy day on the streets of London. You were crying and all alone, wearing a red dress." He looked directly in my eyes and raised one eyebrow, "Remember now?"

I do remember. Oliver, the cheerful, energetic boy that got me back on my feet after wandering off alone because I was lonely that my dad had yet again missed my birthday because of is job. After that, Oliver an I had become best friends for the year and a half that me and Dad had stayed in London.

I looked at Oliver standing there and its like this is the first time I'm really seeing him. "I'm sorry," I say in a small voice.

Oliver smiles warmly, "For what, Piper?"

I shake my head, "For not remembering, for being so rude."

He gives me a quick hug.

Oliver and I probably stayed there chatting for an hour. I learn that he's the son of Mercury(Hermes). He just recently came to camp Half-Blood from camp Jupiter. Also, he never meant to hit me in the head at all and that stone room was just a place for him to think and he'd used it to heal my head a bit.

By the time we're done talking, the sun's about to come up. I realize I have dirt all over my jeans, my hair's a mess with leaves sticking out of it, and I have bags under my eyes.

"I should probably go see Chiron. Bye Oliver."

"I'll come with you. After all, this all happened because of me." I'm about to protest when he cuts me off, "Not taking no for an answer."

We start heading towards the big house a little while before the whole camp wakes up.

Hope you enjoyed that! Oliver is just a made-up character and is not in the Heroes of Olympus.
