(A/N) I honestly don't remember the little details of what I put in here and I'm afraid I'm going to twist myself around in this mY BAD AAAAH
You sat up and stretched, feeling some of your bones creaking into place. You force your eyes open and see the sun light shining through the window brightly. You stand up and head to the main room, where you see Dean and Sam talking quietly.
"Morning, guys." You chirp.
"Oh- Morning, (Y/N)." They both wave, "Cas is in the kitchen if you want him." You walk into the kitchen to find Castiel holding a Rubik's cube. He turned it over and over, analyzing it.
"Good morning, Cassie!" You sit on a stool beside him.
"Oh-- Hello, (Y/N)." He places the Rubik's cube down and looks at you. "Did you have fun at the New Years Party?"
(A/N) even tho that was a month ago whOOPS
"Yeah! I did." You smiled brightly, remembering New Years Eve. But, the thought of New Years.. also made you think about what Kevin said. 'Funny how you remember things you don't want to remember. Ugh..' You thought to yourself, 'Wait.. Doesn't Castiel have the ability to read minds? Maybe I should test it out..' You stopped for a second, trying to think of way to get his attention in your mind.
'.. orANGE, MONKEY, EAGLE!' You shouted in your head.
(A/N) So some of my friends read that and apparently they cant shout inside their head ?? Am I the only one who can? ? ? w hAT
You stared at Castiel's face to get a reaction. Nope. Blank. The thought of him being an angel got you thinking, 'What exactly does he see in me? I mean-- angels are mythical creatures who -- since theyre real-- they should be able to have anything they want with the snap of the fingers. Besides-- what can angels do? Read minds, fly ?? W h at .'
"CASSIE!" You shout, grabbing his attention.
He flinched, "Yes?"
"Can you tell me about the angels." You ask. Hopefully he isn't very sensitive with the thoughts of the other angels and their history.
"I uh... We-- Not a lot of us are really the good guys, per say. Some angels are actually really.. bad. A lot of us have fallen, recently. And well-- they aren't too happy about that." He explained, "Surprisingly, some angels can be the most vicious creatures, and some demons can actually be the most generous."
"Has.. Has there ever been a working relationship between an Angel and a human?" You blurt out.
He stopped for a second, "No. But I can and will still make it work." He placed the Rubik's cube down and held your hand reassuringly.
You smile as he leans on to kiss you. When he pulls back, your eyes wander to a calender on the wall to your left. You saw February 1st-13th crossed out.
"Today is Valentines Day!!!" You jump up and hug him, you two would've fallen if he hadn't grabbed a hold of the counter top.
"Valentines Day?" He asks.
"I forgot the actual meanining of it, but now in the modern times, it's basically a whole day about love. Doesn't have to do with relationships exactly, but can also deal with friendships and all that." You explained the holiday.
"Oh.." He looked down, "I wasn't aware. I did not get you anything."
"Well-- You can... Stay with me the entire day." You looked up at him and gave him your best puppy eyes.
