Renewing of vows

*Zoe's POV*

"This. Is. It." Louise whispered, " I'm getting this one."

"How much?" I asked from the pink chair of the vintage wedding dress shop.

"£500" Louise said happily.

"That's great! Three days now! Excited? Nervous?" I replied feeling super excited for Louise's 'second wedding'.

"Nervous but super duper excited!" She squeaked from the changing room.

"I can't wait! Where are we going next?"

"Florists then we are picking up Alfie for lunch then we need to pick up the suits for Matt." She said as she walked out of the changing room, dress in hand.

"Sounds like a plan!" I replied. Alfie had been off filming for the Guinness World Records with Marcus. It was Louise and Matt's renewal of vows in three days then Marcus and Naomi's wedding two days after that. Louise asked Naomi if she was allowed to have her 'wedding' that close to hers. She's so... nice. Louise wants to renew the vows so she can get some wedding pictures. She felt ugly at her last wedding and extremely under confident, I would do the same.

"Come on chummy! Stop daydreaming!" Louise said tugging on my arm, "we have a timetable to stick to!"

*Alfie's POV*

"Bye everyone!" I shouted out to everyone at Guinness World Records.

"Bye mate. See you at Louise's wedding." Marcus replied pulling me in for a man hug.

"Yeah. Then it's yours! Can't believe it! You, settling down!" I replied with a slight tone of jealousy spilling through unintentionally.

"Is someone jealous that I have found my soul mate and you haven't?!" Marcus asked playfully.

"Don't be stupid! I'm still young! I'm only 25!" I said quickly hoping he would believe me.

"Sure!!" He replied slipping into his jacket.

"Bye!" I said walking out the door giving him the finger. I went out into the winter air. I love the Christmas time. 'One month 'til Christmas' it says in a store window. That makes me smile just thinking about it.

I got back to the flat to see Zoe and Louise parked up outside. I wonder why they didn't just go in?

"Hey guys. Why didn't you just go up?" I asked getting into the car.

"We didn't have time! There is too much to do!" Louise said motioning for Zoe to start up the car.

"Oh sorry I'm a bit late then." I replied.

"Don't worry. It's just Louise being all stressy!" Zoe said looking at me through the rear view mirror. I smiled at her. She smiled her beautiful smile back. I wonder if she likes my smile? No. Stop Alfie.

*Zoe's POV*

We had just settled down at Louise's for the night when there was a knock at the door.

"That'll be Matt. We are gonna be upstairs, he hasn't been home for a while and we need a bit of alone time." Louise said quietly trying not to wake the sleeping Darcy she was carrying in her arms.

"Okay we will just stay down here. We might do a YouNow or something?" Alfie said aiming the last part at me as a question.

"Yeah. You go and have some couple time." I said. 'Thanks' Louise mouthed at us then pointed at Alfie and made a love heart then pointed at me whilst Alfie was starting to get the lifting set up.

"Shut up!!" I said forgetting about Alfie.

"What?" Alfie said turning around.

"Nothing!" Louise laughed sweetly. Alfie shrugged his shoulders and turned back around.

*Alfie's POV*

*3 days later*

It was Louise and Matt's 'wedding' today. I was here at Louise's with her and Matt was at a hotel with his ushers. Louise was completely stressed out. Zoe was trying to calm her down and I was taking care of Darcy even though she didn't need looking after at all. We got on well anyway so it was nice.

"This is so good!" Darcy said loudly with a mouthful of cereal.

"Is that nice then, Darcy?" I replied sarcastically.

"Mmmm hmm!" She said, "where's Alfie's girlfriend?" She added teasingly.

"I don't have a girlfriend Darce!" I said curiously. What had made her say I had a girlfriend?

"Zoe!!" She shouted. Oh. She thought me and Zoe were dating! Why though?

"Yeah?" Zoe said jogging into the kitchen.

"Nothing, she was just talking to me." I replied quickly so Darcy couldn't.

"You sure Darcy? What's up?" She said lovingly.

"You love Alfie!!" Darcy sang. She loved teasing us. Zoe looked shocked.

"No Darcy. We are just friends." Zoe said a bit annoyed.

"But what about what you said to Mum?" She whispered thinking only Zoe could hear. Zoe turned a bright shade of red. What had she told Louise? It didn't concern me, did it?

*Zoe's POV*

"Please re-say your vows now." The vicar said. Louise had looked amazing in her vintage style dress and Matt looked so smart. The day had gone perfectly so far. It had been a bit awkward between me and Alfie after what Darcy had said. I'm 29 and he's 25 anyway. He wouldn't want someone old like me!! I wouldn't be surprised if he got a girl who was like 18, he was very good looking.

"Zoe! Stand up!" Alfie whispered harshly in my ear. I shot up quickly. I had been daydreaming all the way through! Oh god. I followed Louise until we got out into the car park. Her and Matt took the wedding car and me and Alfie got in Alfie's car.

"What is it called again Zo?" Alfie asked turning on the GPS.

"Manor House," I replied quickly, "here, let me!" Alfie was completely struggling with it.

We arrived at the venue not long after Louise and Matt. The other guests hadn't turned up yet. Louise and Matt had gone off for some pictures so it was just me and Alfie.

"Alf, about this morning-" I started.

"It's okay if you fancy me, I know I'm irresistible!" He said jokily.

"I do not!" I laughed, defending myself.

"Why not?!" Alfie said with mock hurt.

"Alfie, seriously. We are just friends. I don't know why everyone has shipped us for so long." I said with a serious tone.

"Yeah, I suppose. But what about all the Zalfie shippers. We can't let them down!" He said still being stupid. He cupped my face for the last bit looking straight into my eyes. He is such a flirt. But I couldn't help myself.

"W, well-" I stared before he pressed a finger to my lips with a smirk, this was all just a funny game to him, wasn't it?

Longer one now. This has taken me ages to write. I hope you like how it is set in a few years time. I had to if I wanted it to be about their friends settling down. I'm sorry for the slight loss of Caspar. He will be back. Vote it up. And comment any feedback. Thanks x
