*Zoe's POV*
I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the flat. He slammed the door shut behind him. We were waiting for the lift. There was silence.
"You look beautiful today," Alfie said, breaking the silence.
"Thanks?" I replied. I didn't know what was going on. He had never said anything like that before, but I liked the feeling I got when he said it. It made me feel good. Why did I like it so much? It made me feel a sense of warmth and confidence.
*Alfie's POV*
Why did I just say that? She looked confused and I didn't blame her, so was I. We got in the lift and Zoe was looking at the floor but smiling. Did she like it that I said she looked beautiful? I broke the silence and we carried on as normal.
----------------------------
When we got to the underground Marcus was there waiting for us.
"ZOE!!" Marcus shouted. People were looking but he didn't care.
"Hey Marcy Butt Butt!" she replied as she ran up and gave him a hug.
"Alfie didn't tell me you were coming!" He said happily but glaring at me.
"I only came to congratulate you. I have to go in a while, but I haven't seen you in ages. Is it a problem?" she sounded sorry and innocent.
"No it's fine!!" he replied. I wondered why he had glared at me was something up? I would just have to wait until Zoe was gone.
*Zoe's POV*
I felt bad. Marcus seemed unhappy about me being there. He had said it was fine though. I wasn't staying long anyway. We got on the train and headed to Oxford Street. I was meeting Louise in half an hour in Covent Garden so I would leave the boys to get the underground.
"So Marcus, how's the wedding planning going?" I asked with interest.
"Yeah, how's Naomi as well?" Alfie added.
"It's going great and Naomi is good, feeling quite stressed she has her dress fitting today so I got the day off!!" Marcus said with a sparkle in his eye. He always had that when he was talking about her. I wanted someone to be like that with me, I wish I had what he had. Seeing Alfie interested in the wedding made me see him in a different light, more mature, like he was someone that was ready to commit. He wanted what I wanted. I liked this new part of Alfie.
*Alfie's POV*
"I have to go now," Zoe said as we walked past a stairway to the underground.
"Okay, see you soon." Marcus said pulling Zoe in for a giant hug.
"I'm gonna be in top man, come find me when your done," Marcus said to me with a wink.
"What was that about?" Zoe said laughing.
"I have no idea!" I lied.
"When will I get to see you again?" She said with a sadness in her voice.
"Well, when are you next in London?" I replied cheekily.
"I go home today. I am back in a couple weeks time to do some filming,"
"I will see you then, call me," I wanted to see her sooner. We went in for a hug and it seemed to last forever. We definitely had a connection. There was no doubt about it. I watched her go down the stairs, being taken by the crowd. She turned at the last minute and blew me a kiss. What did that mean?
