First day was finally over and I had to wait for my Gam Gam to pick me up. I didn't understand why she didn't jus let me take the car, but whatever.

"Bye." Samantha waves as she enters the bus.

"Cya." I wave back.

It would take Gam Gam about 15 minutes just to get in the car, so i got out my homework for today. or course math.

I'm half way through the page as I hear someone sit down next to me. I look up after a while, feelings eyes on me and see Cameron. I roll my eyes and focus again on my homework.

"Waiting for you guardian?" He asks.

I wince at at his question. Guardian really?

"So I'll take that as a yes." Cameron guesses.

"Why are you talking to me." I snap.

"Because we used to be very good friends?" He says more as a question than a statement.

I roll my eyes again, "Not anymore. Can you leave now?"

"Why are you so mad as me!" This time Cameron snaps.

I shrug not wanted to answer.

"Why! He raises his voice, "Why!"

"Because you weren't there for me! Your parents were, but you weren't there!" I finally break.

We stare intently at each other in silence until Gam pulls up and honk the horn. I gather my things and get into the car, "Hey."

"Is that Cameron?" Gam asks.

"Yeah." I sigh.

"He's all grown up now. Wow!" She exhales, "So handsome!"

"Yep." I really didn't want to talk about Cameron right now.

"Invite him for dinner tomorrow, ok? I want to see Cam Cam again." Gammy says excitedly.

"I don't think that will be necessary."  My eyes widen.

"Yes it will be. It can be like a little reunion!" She claps her hands and then quickly puts them back on the wheel.

I didn't want a reunion. I didn't want Cameron back into my life, but I guess one dinner could hurt.
