"Yoona, wanna come to the shops later? I need new clothes," Eunji smiled. I grinned and nodded - who would refuse a bit of shopping?
"Great, I'll meet you after the last class, yeah?" I nodded again, "Usual place?"
She replied with a yes, as we parted ways for our different classes. We shared the sciences together but the rest we were in different classes. Eunji and I were very close friends. We've been friends together since we were around 5 or 6 years old, so we grew up together. We've always been there for each other, and always will be.
She's a little smaller than me height wise, and had shoulder length brown wavy hair and almond shaped eyes, with a pretty heart shaped face. She was pretty and often a lot of boys looked her way. But, she made it clear that she wasn't interested in any of them, so now they've stopped asking her. She was kind and loving to those she cared about, but if anyone messes with her friends she becomes feisty, and it's good having her around in a fight!
I, on the other hand, have straight black hair that reached halfway down my back and big brown eyes. I'm more shy and less confident than Eunji but I'm chatty when I'm with my friends!

"Hey, careful there Yoona!"
A pair of hands grabbed me and pulled me to the wall before I could bump into the oncoming crowd that was passing through the corridor.
"Thanks Heechul," I smiled gratefully at my other close friend. He grinned, tilting his head to the side.
"Lost in thought, as always?"
I grinned sheepishly, and he chuckled.
"Come on, Maths is starting," He said as he pushed me into the classroom. Heechul and I sat next to each other, so it was entertaining. He was a funny one, even the teachers liked him as he always got top marks but he kept the class entertained at the same time.

"Nothing good today," Eunji moaned as she placed her lunch tray on the table with a sigh. I chuckled. "It's why you should pack food from home!" I laughed as Heechul and I high fived, enjoying our packed lunches as Eunji shot us a pretend dirty look.
"Just steal Baekhyun's lunch, he has a lot," I grinned, as we chuckled at his surprised expression and his immediate action of pulling his lunch closer to his chest.
"I like to eat a lot! It's mine!" He said protectively, but Eunji still leant over and stole an egg roll.
"And here I thought you were a gentlemen, Baek..." She winked at him, indicating she was joking. Heechul and I noticed the blush on Beakhyun's face and grinned at each other. Eunji was completely oblivious to the little crush our friend had on her, and we found it highly amusing. Baekhyun - another close friend. The four of us were a tightly knit circle.

We ate our lunch peacefully, as we always do. We were one of the middle groups - not popular as such, but definitely not unpopular. We kept a clean image and were friendly with everyone, so consequently most people were fine with us. Which, was perfect - I had no interest in becoming part of the "popular" clique, nor was I ready to slip into the nerd category. We were fine as we were.

"Hey, did you hear?! There's going to be a new kid!"
"Really? A boy or girl?"
"Boy!"
"Ooh, maybe he's good looking..."

A gaggle of girls walked past our table, chatting excitedly.
"New kid?" Eunji perked up, over hearing them.
"Could be interesting," Heechul and Baekhyun grinned. "Hope he's cool to hang out with."
I just shrugged; I didn't see the big deal really. People come and go. So what?
"Hey hey, he could be handsome, you know," Eunji wiggled her eyebrows at me and I just snorted. "Really, is that what your first thought is?"
She laughed and replied, "You never know!"
I noticed Baekhyun's brow furrow and I suppressed a grin. Eunji got up to go put her tray away, and I leant forward to Baekhyun.
"Not looking forward as much to seeing this new person are you anymore," I grinned and he laughed. "Shut it Yoona," he smiled.
I just sat back and chuckled.
"It's not like he'll hang around with us anyway, right? He'll probably be with that table if he's really that good looking," I motioned to the table with a mixture of boys and girls who were believed to be the most good-looking in the school, the "populars", wearing plenty of makeup and plenty of attitude. Well, actually, they were nice individually, just not altogether.
"Or maybe he'll be ousted to over there," Eunji added as she pointed the table with only a few people who kept to themselves, and didn't socialise with anyone.

I wonder when he joins...

The school is a little bit cliché I know, and I mean no offence to anyone! Just using the typical stereotype even though I know school isn't like this exactly! It's just for the story :P
