The weeks went by, and it was almost time for the Christmas holidays and the end of the first term. Jungkook became firm friends with the four of us, which was great. We started off kind of awkwardly messaging but now we talked over text almost daily.
"Only a week left!" I grinned at Eunji, who clapped her hands excitedly.
"We have meet up loads over the Christmas break! You can spend more time with Jungkook," She winked and I groaned but smiled secretly. She would not stop teasing me about him and I pretended to be annoyed, but she knew really I wasn't.

The rest of the week flew by, and it was Thursday afternoon already, the penultimate day before the end of school. I stood outside the gate after school finished, waiting patiently for the others. Eunji and Baekhyun arrived first.
"Hey Eunji, hi Baek," I put emphasis on his nickname and Eunji immediately glared at me. I laughed, as it was the reaction I expected.
"Sorry, I forgot only you're special enough to call him that," I smirked, smugly.
She blushed and sent me a pretend dirty look, and I just chuckled. It was only fair that I could tease her when she keeps teasing me, right?

Heechul and Jungkook also arrived.
"So, shall we go?" We nodded and began walking. After a short walk, the five of us stepped into a nearby small tea shop, that wasn't too busy. We chose a table by the window; Heechul and Jungkook sat on one side while Eunji, Baekhyun and I sat on the other side. Jungkook was opposite me. I observed how the golden rays of sunlight fell onto his face, highlighting his features and making his skin glow and hair shimmer. He looked amazing.
"Yoona! You're so spaced out recently, jeez," Eunji tutted, waving a menu card in front of my face.
"Sorry!" I laughed and grabbed it off her.
The waitress came over to take our orders.

"I'll have a white hot chocolate please!"
"I'll have a milk chocolate and orange hot chocolate please."
"An expresso please." This came from Eunji. The boys and I giggled at her.
"What, can't I be sophisticated?" She swept her hair back over her shoulder with her hand and rose her eyebrows. I just chuckled at her act.
"I'll have a normal hot chocolate please," I asked.
"Same here please!" Jungkook added.

"Oh, and with whipped cream but no marshmallows..." Jungkook and I said in perfect unison. We looked at each other and shared a little smile before averting our gazes. The others noticed but let it slide, thankfully!

"So, what are we going to do in these couple of weeks then?" Heechul grinned.
"Bowling?" I suggested.
"Ice skating?" Jungkook added.
"How about seeing that new film?" Baekhyun asked.
"Study for the tests we have when we get back?" Eunji joked. I chuckled. "We'll have plenty of time for that," I smiled, and she grinned.
"Yeah I know, it's time we had some fun!"

We all agreed to go bowling day after tomorrow, and the cinema the day after. Day after that, ice skating.
"It's going to be a good holiday," I mused.
Jungkook looked at me and chuckled.
"Why are you laughing?" I pouted, and he laughed more.
"Is there something on my face?" I was worried.
He smiled as he picked up a tissue. He leaned forward and gently wiped my lips. His fingers brushed my skin and I felt my face heat up.
"You had whipped cream there," He said softly.
"Th-thanks," I stuttered and looked anywhere but his eyes. A smile was tugging on my lips and refused to remove itself, so I let it stay there.

After a little while longer, we paid and left.
"See you tomorrow!" Eunji and Baekhyun took the bus, while Jungkook, Heechul and I walked as our houses were not too far from here.
"We need to get those two together," I giggled, referring to Eunji and Baekhyun. Heechul and Jungkook nodded in agreement.
"You got a plan?"
I frowned. Baekhyun liked Eunji, we knew that. But we didn't know if Eunji liked him back. And, she wasn't easy - she wouldn't admit it straight away even if she did; she'd deny her feelings.
"She probably doesn't even realise she does like him back, to be honest. We need to make her realise it somehow..."

"Well, it's not much, but I have an idea," Heechul grinned, and explained his thoughts. Jungkook and I slowly nodded, our smiles widening.
"That could work..." Jungkook said and I agreed.

"Don't forget to explain it to Baekhyun!" I grinned and Heechul gave me a thumbs up as he turned into his street. That left Jungkook and I walking together.

"So where do you live?" We asked at the same time. Chuckling, he said, "You first."
I told him, and he gasped.
"You're literally down the next street from me!" He grinned and I also gasped.
"No way!" I exclaimed as we grinned at each other.
"You know what that means?" He winked.
"No...?" I fiddled with my shoulder bag strap, waiting for his reply.
"We're going to walk to school together!" He laughed happily and I clapped my hands.
"Sounds great," I smiled. Internally I jumped with joy. More time with Jungkook!

"Well, this is my stop."
We stood in front of my house. He shuffled on his feet for a second before asking, "Do you want to come over to mine for a bit?"
I really wish I could.
But I remembered mum was having guests and wanted me to help her cook.
"I have to help in the house, I wish I could but definitely next time," I smiled at him and he returned it. He leaned forward and gave me a quick hug before waving and walking down the road. I unlocked the front door and walked in, hearing noise from the kitchen meaning mum had already started preparing things.
"You look happy today," She smiled, and I just giggled. I kicked off my shoes and went upstairs, and collapsed on my bed with a smile on my face.
Sigh. He's so cute.
I shook my head. I need to not let him distract me too much. I grabbed my clothes and headed for a shower.
