Silena Jackson and the Olympians

Chapter 7

I awoke a few minutes before I was supposed o be ready for dinner. I was drenched in sweat. I had again dreamed of the Titan and the cat fighting the other being. This time it was more intense, and as the dream went on, others joined in, against the Titan. I wished I could have helped the Titan, but I was helpless in the dream. I also woke up screaming.

"No!!!!!!!!" I yelled. Hunter burst through the door.

"What's wrong?" He asked in a rush, coming over to help me up, seeing I was all tangled up in my sheets.

"I- I- I had a- a dream." I said, shaking as he helped me up.

"Shh... It's okay. Everything's alright. Let's get you out of bed and downstairs so we can go to dinner. It's very important that you be there so let's just get you out of bed..." He said soothingly as he helped me up. Once I was up I stopped shaking. I looked towards the open closet where there was a note on the door. It read:

Dear Silena,

Wear this outfit to dinner tonight. If you refuse I will hunt you down and give you my blessing, and I know just like Piper did, you will want to get rid of it.

I groaned. Hunter also read the note.

"I'll be downstairs. Come down once you're dressed." Hunter said. Then he left. I looked at the outfit. It was a gray and Seafoam green, polka dot, sleeveless dress. I slipped it on and looked in the mirror. My hair had magically curled itself into an updo. Curls framed my face and the rest of my hair was piled into a curly bun on the top of my head. I grabbed the 4 inch, gray high heels from my closet and I slipped them on. Luckily Venus hadn't messed with my makeup. I looked at the time--- 4:47--- and I booked it down the stairs. Piper saw me and shook her head.

"Mom!" She said shaking her fists at the ceiling.

"It's okay." I said. "I've had her do worse before." Hunter and Jason just gaped at me. Hunter especially.

"Pipes," Jason said. "Where does your mom get all these outfits she gives us?"

"I have no idea." Was Piper's response.

"Come on! We'll be late!" Hunter said, finally able to talk again. We rushed to the pavilion. We arrived just in time. Hunter pulled me to a table where Sammi and Felix were seated. Piper and Jason went to the Jupiter Cabin table. The centaur stood and everyone was silent.

"Campers of Camp Half-Blood, today a new camper arrived via portal. Silena would you like to introduce yourself?" Before I could respond, I was propelled up by an unknown force, probably Venus.

"I am Silena Jackson, daughter of Perseus and Annabeth Jackson. I am a descendent of both Minreva and Neptune. Well technically it's Athena and Poseidon becausemy parents are Greek butI grew up at Camp Jupiter so I will call them by the Roman names. I am currently staying with the Grace's. And yeah. Oh and Venus is forcefully making me wear this outfit. Just so you know." I quickly sat down between to Hunter and Felix.

"Now you may eat!" Chiron--- I think that's his name--- said, and the pavilion erupted with noise.

"Nice going there cuz." Felix said, nudging me with his shoulder.

"Why thank you. I've never had to wear a dress quite like this one and I hope no one thinks that I will again." I replied. Before Felix could make a return comment there was a sound of a horn, a hunting horn to be exact. I jumped up. So did Hunter. I turned to the sound and say my 'Aunt' Thalia and her hunters, the Hunters of Diana.

"Aunt Thals!" I cried out running towards her. She caught me in a hug.

"What are you doing here Sil?"

"Mom and dad sent me here for the summer."

"Finally they told you! It's been killing me not being able to tell you." I looked behind her, pulling out of the hug.

"I see you found some new recruits." I said. One of the hunters stepped forward. "Hillary?!"

"Hey Sil."

"What are you doing with the hunters? Your dad will flip! And that's not good considering that his dad is Pluto."

"Well mom approved and she'll calm dad down."

"But Aunt Bianca died while in the hunt."

"Well dad will have to deal with it."

"I know your dad, my Uncle Nico, and he will be hard to calm, but if anyone can do it, it's Aunt Reyna." Hunter came up.

"Who is this? And did you call my Aunt Aunt Thals?!?" He asked.

"This is Hillary diAngelo, daughter of Reyna and Nico diAngelo, now a Hunter of Diana. And yes I did. But Thalia is only an honorary aunt. Just like my Aunt and Uncle Zhang, and Hillary's parents. And Thals is your aunt?"

"Yeah. She's my dad's older sister. Or younger sister. I don't exactly know how that works."

"It's not that confusing." Hillary said.

"Yes it is." I replied.

"I'll let you guys think that because I could never win an argument against you. You're just so stubborn."

"Am not!"

"Let's just all calm down and maybe discuss this a different time?" Hunter suggested. Thalia walked up.

"We are heading to the cabin so I'm going to steal Hillary away from you guys."

"Okay." Hunter and I said in unison. Hillary walked away with Thalia and the rest of the Hunters.

"So..." Hunter said. "Do you want to go back to the house or back to the pavilion?"

"The house. I need to get out of these 'wonderful' clothes that Venus gave me."

"Yeah. Here choice of clothing doesn't suit your style. And I've only seen you in one other outfit!"

"That's true. So let's get going." And with that we headed back to the house where I changed into a loose fitting sheer-gray shirt with a Seafoam Green tank top underneath and a pair of black jeggings. I slipped on a pair of white converse high tops and I pulled my curly, blonde, hair up into a messy conch bun. I also slipped my hat into a gray sling bag I had slung across my shoulder. Riptide appeared in my pocket and I looked around making sure I didn't forget anything. I had everything so I left my room, closing the door behind me, before heading downstairs to the living room. Hunter was waiting for me.

"I'm ready. So where are we supposed to be?"

"Campfire. You look much better."

"Thanks. I feel more me if you get what I mean." We started on our way to the campfire.

"I get what you mean. What I don't get is wh-" he stopped moving and speaking mid-sentence.

"Hunter? Hunter? Hunter! What's wrong?" That's when I noticed Diana walking towards me.

"Silena, child, now that you have found the truth our forms are restored, but Olympus still is falling. There is a piece of this whole thing that's missing. Along with that, the Muses have started to fade away, even though they should be fine. We need you to figure out what's wrong. We fear that the Even Greater Prophecy is beginning to come to pass. Hurry Silena, Hurry!" And with that she vanished and time seemed to start again.

"-y Aphrodite puts us through the embarrassment of wearing formal wear." Hunter continued, like nothing had just happened. I started to shake. I felt my legs crumble from beneath me, and then there was black.
