Gracie's FIRST SWIM MEET IS COMING UP, Just keep swimming, just keep swimming! HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE THIS CHAPTER!! Comment your opinions! Xoxoxo

This Friday was my first swim meet, I was excited and nervous. We were going up against 3 different schools since I was the captain of the swim team I had to swim three times. To get some stress off of our shoulders Rose and I decided to go to the mall.

"Hey Gracie I told my parents about the cigarette's" said Rose

"Great how did they take it?" I asked smiling

"Not so well... they kicked me out of the house" she looked down.

"Oh my god, Rose you're welcome to stay at my house for as long as you'd like" I said grabbing her shoulder.

"No, no that's too much to ask" she said shaking her head.

"No, you're staying at my house" I insisted.

"My parents aren't the type of people to do that. I don't know why they reacted that way. Listen Gracie I'll stay at your house until I convince my parents to let me come back. Sound good?" she asked

"Fine" I replied

"come on for now let's just go shopping" When we got home I told my parents about Rose's situation, they were a little annoyed but completely understanding. They told me Rose could stay here as long as she needs to. Rose was able to sleep in my bedroom. In a way it was kind of like having the sister I always wanted it was nice. The week went by slower than ever days passed filled with therapy and bullies and stress. I just wanted the swim meet to be here. When Friday arrived I could feel the nerves swimming threw me. Dylan and my parents and my uncle and aunt were all there watching me, excepting me to win.

"You nervous Grace?" asked Ivy as she was stretching her legs.

"I don't know" I responded.

"You should be" she laughed. "You're not even that good, especially compared to these people. I bet you the only one who is going to win a medal for our school today is me!" she bloated.

"Alright Ivy will see about that" I said gaining a little more confidence. She smirked at me as she flipped her hair to walk away and go sit on the bleachers. The race was about to began and I was more nervous now then I have been all week. I went to the edge of the pool getting in my beginning position. I glanced over at the bleachers where I saw Dylan sitting. He was wearing the outfit he wore when I first saw him. His black faded jeans and pink tie, I almost burst out into laughter at the thought of him. His hair was spiked up and he was wearing those 3d movie theatre glasses with the lenses popped out. I smiled at him, and he winked back. I looked back over at Rose and she was sitting stretching me as she whispered to me

"good luck". I wasn't really paying attention when I heard the whistle blow I jumped in the pool and swam faster than I've ever swam before. When I was under water I could see the girls next to me as the frantically flapped their arms and kicked their feet. I could see the ending it looked as if it was only a breath away, I kept swimming. I wanted, no I needed to do this, I had to win for me and for Olivia.

"And the winner is... Grace" cheered my coach! "Really did I really win?"

"Yes congratulations" He leaned in to give me a hug then went to go sit down with the rest of the team. I ran over to go see Dylan when Poison Ivy stopped me.

"Wow Gracie that was truly amazing" she smiled harmlessly as she shook my hand.

"Uh thanks..." I said trying to walk away but before I could she shoved me back into the pool.
