The next day at school was a blur until 4th period. Home Ec, was the class I had to pay attention to, and today was the day to do it. Mrs. Janice assigned a project and we don't know what it is yet. We just know we have partners. While she starts to read the group names off I listen.
"Shauna and Zeke; Lynn and Peter; Uriah and Marlene; Christina and Will; Four and Tris; Aubrey and Luke; Robert and Susan; Caleb and Cara; Lauren and Max, are the groups you will have for the project."
Mrs. Janice was fixing to continue but Aubrey raised her hand.
"Why are all the partners boy and girl?" She asked.
"If you would've let me finish, I would e told you. Anyways, your project is to have a fake baby and care for it within your group. There is a computer in the baby that tells me how it's being treated. You better treat it right because this grade will be your final semester grade. You get the babies at the end of class."
At the end of class, we go get our fake child. It's a boy so we decide on Loki for the name. While we walk down the hall, Four whispers to me, "you look good today Tris."
I blush immediately and try to change the subject.
"What time are we meeting after school today?" I ask.
"What about 4:30?" He replies.
"Sure. Well I got to go. See ya later!" I shout while walking away.
"Bye!"
And with that I walk out the building to go get ready.
