Chapter 17

~+~+ Vanessa pov~+~+
The darkness took over me. I started to walk around. As I walk I started to see things from the past. One was that time I won the spelling bee in third grade. That was the time when everything was fine and there was no worries. I kept walking to see the time that my family went on a rode trip. And I kept asking my mom if we were there yet. Right next to it was the time my grandma died. As I walk by these moments in my life it brought me back in time. I kept walking to the point where me and Sean were in the hotel. I look forward to see a door. I run up to it and opened it. On the other side was my grandma.
Me: " What are you doing here?"
Grandma: " Vanessa do you know where you are right now?"
Me: " No why? Should I know?"
Grandma: " Okay you are in the hospital."
Me: " What!"
Grandma: " You blocked a gun shot for Sean and you are in a coma."
Me: " Oh."
Grandma: " But you need to come with me."
Me: " Where?"
Grandma: " I'm going to show you what is happening without you in your friend's life's."
Me: " Okay."
She brought me though a door. And it was and the house. Mark, Will, H and Bee was in the living room.
Me: " Grandma can we heard them?"
Grandma: " Yes."
I look back to see Graser and Parker join them. Then Will started to talk.
Will: " I miss her."
Bee: " I know she was my sister."
H: " She was a good listener and was always there for you."
Mark: " I hope she wakes up soon."
Graser: " Does anyone know how Sean's doing?"
Parker: " Not good he stays in his room for 6 hours and then goes to the hospital."
Bee: " He don't look fine you can tell he is hurt."
H: " He also haven't post anything."
Mark: "I'm going to check on him."
Will: " Okay."
My grandma told me to go up stairs and listen. So I do.

Vanessa was brought back to our town. We put her in the hospital here so we can see her and go house. But everything is different without Vanessa here. No one is the same. But Grape is the one who is hurt the most. I walked up to his room and knock.
Grape: " Who is it?"
Me: " Mark."
Grape: " Come in."
I walk in to see him on the window seat.
Me: " Hey how are you doing?"
Grape: " How am I doing? What do you think?"
Me: " Okay I'm sorry I'm just worried about you."
Grape: " Worried about what?"
Me: " Without Vanessa here everyone's different. But you are the one who is hurt the most because you guy's are dating."
Grape: " It's not easy okay." He started to cry.
I walked over to him.
Me: " Grape listen it's going to be okay."
Grape: " And what if its not?"
Me: " Then we will get though it."
Grape: " I'm in love with her!"
Me: " We know, why don't you record with me later?"
Grape: " Sure."
Me: " We all need her too. Its not the same without her. But we can only hope she comes back."
Grape: " I know."
I got up and went to the door.
Me: " And can you try to come and eat dinner with us. We need you too in our life's."
Grape: " Yeah I guess."
Me: " Dinner should be in an hour or so."
Grape: " Ok."
And I left hoping everything will be the same.

They need me. Most of all Sean needs me.
Me: " How can I go back?"
Grandma: " Well you need to try to open your eyes."
Me: " But how?"
Grandma: " By thinking of something that makes you happy. And I know what that is."
Me: " Okay I will do it when they visit tomorrow."
Grandma: " Sounds good hope you can do it. And remember to train your powers when you feel strong enough."
Me: " Thank you grandma."

I woke up to see that I was in bed. I looked at the clock and it said 12:30 pm. I got up and got ready to go see Vanessa. I walk downstairs to the living to see who is up. I saw that Straub, Jordan, and Ryan were up. I went and sat down in a chair by the TV.
Straub: " Hey dude."
Me: " Hey."
Ryan: " You going to see Vanessa today?"
Me: " Yes I am."
Jordan: " Do you want us to go with you?"
Me: " Sure."
Straub: " Let's go."
We left and went to the hospital. It's only been a week without her but we all need her to come back. We went to her room and sat down. I pulled up a chair by her bed. I turn on the TV and started to watch it. I look over to see the other guy's asleep. I was tired too so I took a nap.

I can hear the TV on and some one by me. So I started to open my eyes. At first I can't see a thing but my vision started to clear a few minutes later. I carefully turn my head to see who it was. Of course it was Grape. I look to my left to see Jordan, Ryan, and Straub. I saw that Grape was waking up so I closed my eyes again to see what he would do.
Grape: " Please Vanessa wake up. I need you by my side."
And at that moment I felt a pair of lips on mine. I didn't kiss back because I wanted to act like it was a fairytale and the girl wakes up to a kiss. As he pulled away I slowly open my eyes.
Me: " Sean?"
Grape: " Vanessa!"
Me: " I missed you."
Grape: " Me too. Please don't do that again."
Me: " I can't say I won't. I love you to much."
Grape: " I love you too."
Me: " How long have I been out?"
Grape: " A week."
Me: " Oh I'm sorry."
At that moment the doctor came in.
Doctor Addy: " Your awake."
Me: " Yup when can I leave?"
Doctor Addy: " You are good to go by 6 today."
Me: " Thanks doc."
And she left.
Grape: " You know what we should do?"
Me: " What?"
Grape: " I'll wake up the guys. You still act like you are in a coma. But I'll bring the guys home and come back to get you to surprise them."
Me: " Sounds good." I closed my eyes as Grape woke up the guys.
Grape: " Let's go home and get something to eat."
Straub: " You sure?"
Grape: " Yes."
I heard the boys say goodbye and to wake up soon.
