chapter 8 new day new friends

I woke up alone in a small bunk, it's 3:30 and we have arrived in a small town out side of Pennsylvania to pick up our gear like amps and extra technical stuff. About five minutes later after checking Twitter, tumblr, ect I jump out of my bunk and grab a pair of high wasted black skinny jeans, a long sleeved black shirt, black lace panties and the matching bra, paired with my black doc martens. After a quick shower and getting dressed we arrive at the whearhouse. "Hey guys we're here let's go" Ballz said opening the door and walking out. "Aurora let's go sign out the trailer and let the boys hook it to the bus" Kylie said. Ricky looked over at me and started to come over "Bye babe" He said kissing my cheek. "Bye" I softly replied. As we started walking we could hear the boys hounding Ricky with questions on that "incidence" a few seconds ago. "Soooooo you and Ricky?" Kylie said lifting a eyebrow. "What about it?" I said, I'm not sure if I should tell maybe he wants to wait until we tell them together. "Are you guys a couple? " she said nudging me this her elbow playfully. Well I guess if Ricky kissed me in front of everyone he wouldn't care if I told her, and besides I feel like I can trust Kylie. "Yea, we made it official last night but only you guys know" I said opening the door into the big warehouse. "Well your secret it safe with me" she said "Hello I'm here to sign out moitonless's trailer" Kylie said to the woman at the small desk. "Sign here" the woman said harshly handing Kylie a clipboard. She started signing all over flipping pages, and signing some more. Soon after she handed the clipboard back and the woman just shook her head. "Let's go!" Kylie said cheerfully linking arms with me. We skipped all the way back to the bus where the boys had the black trailer attached to the back of the bus. "Hello lady's, how are you on this fine day" Ryan said opening the bus door for us. "Very good kind sir and you?" I said in a British ascent. Ryan chuckled and entered the bus after us. "So we have to drive back to Scranton for the show tomorrow but it's also Ricky and Auroras birthday Soon!" Chris yelled getting everyone's attention. "Aw love birds have the same birthday? So cute!" Vinny said making kissy faces. "Any ways I was thinking we could have a little party with New year's day after the show" Chris said. (BTW I don't listen to nyd so if I get something wrong I'm sorry but I know miw and nyd toured together) "yea that sounds cool" Ricky said. "So before we hit the road we are gonna drive to meet new year's day at the park and have a BBQ so get ready we will arrive shortly" Ghost said walking to the drivers seat with Kylie closing the curtains separating us from the driver's seat. Vinny, Ryan, and Chris sat down and started playing halo. Ricky was sitting at the small table reading. "Hey Ricky could you do my makeup I'm to lazy" I said ploping down in his lap. He closed his book and kissed my cheek. "Of course, let me go grab my black makeup bag in our bunk" He said. I stood up and moved so he could stand. Once he returned me got down on his knees in front of me so he was eye level. Ricky pulled out some eyeshadow primer and lightly rubbed it on my eye lids. Next he took carbon Mac eye shadow and softly brushed it on. Then he took my better than sex mascara and applied it to my lashes. He then took a very light white powder and brushed it over my cheeks, head, and chin. "All done babe" he said kissing my nose. I opened my eyes and looked in a small hand mirror. "It's perfect, thank you" I said standing. "Your welcome" he said smiling. A few minutes later we arrived at a large park with lot's of big trees and few people. We all helped Chris unpack the grill and set up a table. The boys all helped cook and Kylie and I are making a salad. "Hey guys!" Said an unknown female voice. I turn sightly and see Ash and her band walking towards us. "Hey Ash, your just in time foods just about done." Chris said going up and hugging her and the others. "Come on let's go introduce you to nyd." Kylie said grabbing my arm. We briskly walked through the grass until we where by the grill where Ash was Greeting Chris. "Hey Ashley this is Aurora Ricky's girl friend." Kylie said to Ashley. "Oh hey! I'm Ashley it's nice to meet you!" She said extending her hand. Anxiety racked through my body and my thoughts where every where, I started to sweat. "Nice to meet you to." I said quietly with a small smile "I sorry need to go" I said quickly then started walking away. I heard Ricky's call me and Ash ask if she did something wrong but I just keep walking. I walked past the bus and there was a big oak tree not to far so I grabbed Ricky's pack of cigarettes at sat under the tree lighting one. I haven't had something like that happen to me in years. As I smoked the cigarette a dark figure came and sat next to me. The person kissed my cheek, grabbing the cig and taking a drag. I then knew it was Ricky. "Before we left Sam had told me about you anxiety and how it was mostly gone but that was because you never left home, she had warned me that it's triggering when you meet new people." He said holding my hand and kissing it. "I didn't even think about it, I wasn't nervous meeting you but I mean, I guess it was because I was with Sam." I said shyly. "I feel bad." "Why?" He said "Ash" I simply reply. "It's okay I explained it to her she's not upset at all." In fact she can relate she had anxiety when she was a kid, and so did I, after the incident with my sister." He said. " Ricky I'm sorry I shouldn't make this about me and its OK if you wanna leave and go hang out with the guys". I said feeling bad about what I just said. "No Aurora its okay I rather be here with you and make you feel better." Ricky said kissing my head. "Are you sure?" I said. "Positive, we can head back when your ready" he said sweetly.

We sat and talked for about 15 minutes before I decided to go back. "I think I'm ready to go back now" I told Ricky. "okay That's Good I can introduce you to the rest of the band" Ricky said smiling. We stood up can started walking back to the little picnic table and grill. Ash was standing with Kylie and I wanted to go apologize. "Hey I'm gonna go talk to Ashley," I said before we parted ways. "Hey Aurora your back!" Kylie said with a smile. "Yea, um hey Ashley I just wanted to apologize for earlier, I totally had forgotten about my anxiety, my friend back in Scranton normally helped me with stuff like that and I never really meet many people besides my small friend group, so I just wanted to say, Hi I'm Aurora MIW's merch girl" I said sticking out my hand. "It's no problem, and hi Aurora I'm Ashley NYD front woman!" She replied with a sweet smile.

Few hours later

After some chit chat we lit a small fire and are just sitting around sharing Scarry story's and what not while Ricky had his arm wrapped around me. "So Chris you ready for the show tomorrow?" Nick from nyd asked (I know he's not in the band any more) " yea it's gonna be crazy! Home town shows are always the best" He said with enthusiasm. "And you Aurora? It's gonna be your first day selling merchandise to probably hundreds of fan's?" Nick said. I pushed down my anxiety and fear and began to speak. "I'm kinda nervous but I think I'll do just fine" I said with a smile. We all sat and talked for a few hours until it was time to go, we had an important show to get to by 4:00 am to set up. We all helped clean up and pack the leftovers away. After we walked back to the bus to part ways. "Well it was amazing to meet you Aurora I wish you good luck on your first day!" Nikki said giving me a light hug. "It was good meeting you to Nikki I'll see you later tomorrow!" I said. "Bye Aurora maybe on one of our days off we can go get our nails done and grab some lunch" Ashley said hugging me. "Yea that would be fun, I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I said waving good bye. "Bye!" She said before walking away. Ricky guided me onto the bus and we slowly made it to his bunk to lay down. " so did you have fun?" He asked. "Yea I really like Ash she super cool" I said looking at him. "Yea I can tell she likes you, and the rest of NYD love you to" he said kissing my forehead. "Get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow" with that said I drifted off to a deep slumber.
