Chapter 1

Today was finally the last day of my high school career, it also happens to be the day of the One Direction concert. Friday, June 11, 2015, was the day my dream finally became true; oh, by the way I'm Bailey Carson and I live in San Francisco and this is how my life changed in an instant.

I got home like any other day after work, but I finally had freedom from the suffocating reality of high school. Work may be hard, but it beats going to school for 7 hours 5 days a week. Today I had the chance to change my life for the better, but I don't think I knew the work that goes into this rollercoaster of life.

I started to get ready for the concert when my best friend, Sierra showed up; we had been waiting for 3 years to be able to see the boys and now was our chance in the front row. I may be 18, but I have been waiting so long for this to finally happen and Sierra is going to get to experience it with me. We both decided to dress laid back in rolled up jeans and loose tank tops, we originally thought of wearing dresses, but that's not the real us. When she ran upstairs into my room is when the real excitement began, starting with getting pumped up together while we finished our make up.

We left shortly after saying our goodbye's to my mom before she had to leave for her shift at the hospital. Once we got into the car we put on One Direction straight away, singing out loud with no care in the world, but the concert. Sierra eventually turned down the music and turned to me with a look in her eye; "You know, maybe Liam will realize that you're the only girl he needs in his life. And maybe Niall will join that boat and want to be with me." It made me laugh, not because it was an irrational thought, but because the thought of it coming true would be the exact thing I've been waiting for since they became a band. She turned back around, smiling to herself while she turned the music back up.

When we got to the venue, we had to get our bags checked by security, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Liam walking by on the other side of the gates, and I think he winked at me once I looked up. I can't be for sure, but it felt like his eyes were only on me at that moment in time. "Bails, I'm pretty sure Liam just winked at you, are you okay?" I couldn't say a word, I wasn't just dreaming what had happened; I just nodded, smiling down at the ground at my luck.

After years of waiting in line, we got into the stadium and got to our seats, Sierra decided to call her mom to tell her that we had gotten in okay and that we would be fine for the next couple hours during the concert. I was scrolling through twitter when someone came up behind me, clearing their throat. I turned around to see Liam standing there in front of me grinning, "Love, you look nice tonight."

I smiled at his compliment as he took my hand into his; "I need to know the name of that beautiful smile."

"Bailey Carson," I said as I felt a shiver go down my spine.

"Well Ms. Carson, I hope that you're coming to the meet and greet after the concert tonight, I would love to see those pretty eyes again." I looked up at him in shock as he kissed my cheek and went backstage again.

Sierra came back with a worried look on her face, "Bailey, what did I miss?"

"Um Sierra, Liam just came out here and told me he was hoping that I'm coming to the meet and greet because he wants to see me again," I said smiling bigger than ever.

"Maybe Liam can send a message to Niall and we could double date together!" Sierra's face lit up the more she thought about going out with Niall.

"Maybe, just maybe."

The concert started shortly after my encounter with Liam and it was amazing, I didn't think their voices could get any better. For the first couple songs, Liam kept looking around in the crowd till his eyes landed on me. The boys started singing Little Things, but all I could hear was Liam singing to me. I came back to reality when the concert ended and he finally looked away for the first time. Everyone was leaving for the meet and greet, when Sierra and I got pulled back by Paul; "Liam and Niall would like to see you lovely ladies." The news caught Sierra and I by surprise, I mean what could they possibly tell us that they can't say at the meet and greet?
