(THIS ONE IS LONG TOO. Sorry. But I promise, it's really good! 😁)

Tess' (P.O.V.)

"We're here!" Liu calls us. He parks in the modern home's lot. Wow, this is one nice house. The architecture's gorgeous. When we all got out, we heard a massive bark from inside. "Sorry, that's Sparky. He's a Saint Bernard. He's a big goof, so I warn you. But really, he is big, so be a little careful." Liu smiles warmly at everyone. They all scoff. "What?" Liu asks, confused. "Have you seen smile? Jeff's husky? Basically if you put him in front all the girls smushed together, he would be about 2x bigger than them. So we're used to it. But we haven't seen him in the last 3 years." Hoodie looks down sadly and sighs. I glanced at Jeff who looks uncomfortable. "I don't want to talk about him, Hoodie." Jeff mumbles. I rubbed his back, comforting him. "Oh." Liu replied silently. Chloe just looks at me, worried. "Well shall we go in inside?" Chloe chirps, obviously changing the subject. "We shall!" I chuckled. WHOA. The floors were a gorgeous cherry wood, the chandelier was humongous, the stairs were curved around to the door... It really looked like one of those rich modern houses in Chicago with all it's stain and steel cooking supplies and shiny tile. I just stood there in the doorway, fascinated with everything. "Can I live here?" I jokingly asked Chloe. "No." She sarcastically remarks. I hit her in the stomach. "Ow!" She laughed. I walked inside with Jeff as he carried Emma on his hip. BARK BARK. Oh no. I see this huge and silly Saint Bernard run in. Emma shrieks happily at Sparky. "Hey sparky!" Jeff calls at him as if they're best friends. Sparky runs through Jeff's legs, clearly ignoring him. "Hmmm. Must not like me." Jeff chuckled. "Well, at least he didn't jump all over you. You have Emma." I so sound like a mother. I guess I'm finally realizing that I AM mother. I stared at Emma and gently grabbed her from Jeff. Jeff told me he went with Liu and the boys to their rooms obnoxiously. I already could hear deep bass sounds of rap music coming from one rooms. I rolled my eyes. Boys will be boys. The girls were awkwardly left with me. I never really had the chance to know them. Chloe went by my side and waves at them awkwardly. "Well, hello." She whispers. I felt like slapping my face, this is a total fail. They still stood there with silence falling over us. I cleared my throat. "I think I'll give you girls a room of the place." Chloe smiles. "Okay." Kales responds. Locks and Sally look at each other, while Alice stares at me that gives me chills and her arms folded. "Lets go." I urged Chloe to go on.

Chloe last showed us our room. It was so nice and clean. The floors were a light brown hardwood floor, the walls were painted a beige, the two beds had frames that were a orangey brownish color with shelfs in them to store books. The beds itself was straight and neat with all white bed sheets, pillows and blankets. It had a strangely built but very cool looking desk with flat screen above it and a white spinning chair to sit in, and a white cushiony chair in the corner. It looked a lot like a hotel room but much more spacious. "Girls this is where you'll be staying." Chloe moves her hands around the room. "Wait, the two of us will sleeping on each bed?" Kales asked. "Yes..." Chloe responded, sounding a little anxious. "Great..." Kales grumbles her rough voice. I looked at Kale and mouthed, "I will get Jeff." "Um no everything's great!" Kales responded quickly. Did she actually get a little threatened? I feel powerful now. "Tess, you actually have a room with Jeff. He's probably in there now. I'll show you the way. And I'll grab your stuff." We close the door behind us and Chloe happily takes my belongings. "You really don't have to, Chloe." She stops me, "No big deal. You deserve to live like kings and queens here." She winks at me as we walk to the left in the grand hall way. The cherry wood floor was slick and shiny with a big opening in the middle to view the door and small space in front of it. They like plants because I could see every flower, vine, and huge plant around. On the walls or on the desk. Everywhere. But it was so pretty. "Who watches after the house?" I asked as we got to the door. "Our maid, Sofia. She's an old little lady who's so sweet. I feel really bad that she works so hard but we pay her very well and she loves us likes she's our mother." Chloe faces me now with a smile on her face and puts my suitcase along with my purse against the door. "And she looks after sparky too?" Chloe nods. "So she sleeps here?" "'No she actually lives in Fullerton." Chloe responds. "Oh so where are we in Chicago?" I was a little confused. "We're in the north side of Chicago." I nodded when Chloe opens the door and calls in. No response. Both me and Chloe hear the water running. "Oh he's in the shower obviously." Chloe mumbles. "I'm good from here now, Ging. Thanks for everything. I love you so much." I hugged her tightly and said a good night as she walked away with her riding boots clicking. I walk inside as I dragged along my suitcase and swung my purse on my shoulder. Emma was asleep and started to hurt my left arm. Such a fat baby. I guess I did eat a lot when I was pregnant. Too much pickles and mustard. I threw the heavy suit case on the ground and threw my shredded white purse on the bed. This room looked like the same as the girls. This secretly must be a hotel that cost about 700 buckaroo each night. But ha! I wasn't paying. I sat on the bed and saw a crib in the corner of my eyes. She must've added that when the girls and I were in the living room, eating pretzels and waiting for her. No wonder. She wasn't in the bathroom! Why am I so naive? I heard low humming from the bathroom when I put Emma in her pajamas and lied her down in the black colored crib. I played quiet classical music from the radio that was clipped to one of the bars. Mozart. Yes. Beautiful music and my mother told me it was always the music she played to me when I was Emma's age. Finally, I ran to the bed and jumped on it. Leaving me to fall off. I grunted and made a excellent landing sound for every one to hear. Great job, Tess. I heard the shower stop and Jeff runs out with a towel around his waist. Water dripping from his body and steam coming out of the bathroom. "Hi." I mumbled into the floor. "Ow." I whispered as he helped me up. "Thanks." "No problem for my klutz." He laughed quietly. I gently punched him in the arm. "Do you think that woke up Emma?" I asked worriedly. "She hasn't cried yet. But I'll go over there and check." Jeff walked over quietly and peaked in the pink blankets slightly covering over the crib. Jeff shook his head. I sighed with relief. "She was up too long on the trip and I am one tired momma." I leaned into Jeff and hugged his lean torso. I forget how tall he is sometimes. I yawned and realized I was kind of wet. I took a step away from him. He gave a sorry look. "It's okay." I muttered. I changed right in front of Jeff into my painted looking sweats and a white holy t-shirt. Yeah I bet I look so attractive right now. I posed for Jeff. "That's so hot." He mimicked Paris Hilton. "You are right on spot with that. Oh, we're missing one thing! The final touch!" I frolicked to the bed stand and grabbed my grandma reading glasses. I put it on with confidence, "How do I look?" I winked stupidly at Jeff and suddenly my eye was hurting. "Okay ow ow ow I won't wink like that again. That hurt." I whispered so Emma wouldn't hear. Jeff covers his eyes with his right hand and I observed his shaking body from quietly laughing. "What?" I giggled. "You look like my mother when she was your age. I have a picture." He laughed even more. I pouted. I didn't like him making fun of me but oh well. I carefully went onto the bed and cuddled with the sheets, reading 'People' magazine. I could see Jeff changing in the corner of my eye. I smirked at his gorgeousness. He put up his wet hair and sighed. "I'm so glad to be out of those clothes." I observed his outfit and it was a lot like mine. "Great minds think alike." I pointed at myself and his grungy outfit. Except his sweats weren't that messy but his white loose shirt was definitely more holier than mine. He laughed quietly and got into bed. "You go to church with that shirt on?" I giggled. Jeff rolls his eyes as he grins widely. I sat with a pillow behind my back. My spine still hurts from that fall. Ouch. I had the lamp light on and read about Kim Kardashian's hair fail. I tried not to laugh at the picture. Jeff moved into me and wrapped his arms my torso. He put his head on my chest and breathed deeply, "I miss my hoodie." He mumbles and I look down, realizing he's cuddling with his white hoodie. I scoffed at him and distract-fully played with the ends of his hair and loved him more and more...
