Chapter 20

*One year later*

Cameron's POV

A year has gone by and honestly, my love for Mia grew stronger. I love her to the moon and back, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

"Where should I set up these?" Nash asked snapping me out of my thoughts. Him and I are setting up a romantic dinner for me and Mia, where I will ask her to marry me.

"Just set them up over there and go get the rest" I instructed as I set the table with plates and a bouquet of flowers.

Everything was done and I am impressed with what Nash and I did.

"Okay, Nash go get her but don't ruin anything" I said and he rolled his eyes playfully.

I went home and got ready now, I'm waiting for Nash. As if on cue, Nash's range rover pulled up at the entrance of the park.

"Why'd you take me here, Nash?" I heard Mia's angelic voice spoke with annoyance. Nash just drove away. She flipped him off and I chuckled. I jogged over to her and she had a pissed look on her face.

"Hey, babe" I said she hugged me.

"Why am I here?" She asked me. Without any reply I took her hand carrying her over to the dinner I made for us.

"Awwww Cam, you did this for me?" She asked with disbelief.

I nodded and pulled out her chair for her then went to sit in mine.

"I have something very special planned for you after this so eat up" I said and we ate while making conversation of off nothing but being with her makes it everything.

We finished eating and I led her to an empty spot decorated with lights, music started playing and I pulled her closed to me, my hands on her hips and swayed with her to the beat of the music.

The music stopped and I stared into her eyes. "Babe, I'm not really good the the whole romantic and lovey stuff but I know that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you" I went down on one knee and she gasped her eyes watering a little. "Amelia Andrea Walters, when I first saw you I felt something and I know that I have a weird way of showing it but I really love you, with everything in me and want to make you mine" I pulled a velvet box out of my pocket. "Always and forever, will you marry me?"

She nodded and I slipped the ring on her finger and hugged her lifting her off of her feet.

"I love you so much" she said wiping a few stray tears from her cheek.

I crashed my lips onto hers, holding her close to my body once we pulled away.

She's finally mine.
