Carter had to stay for a few days for some tests.
I was home alone
Jasmine decided to go with our grandma and my parents. Work of course.

I grabbed my phone off the counter carelessly not looking at the screen answering it
"Hello?"
"Hey..."

"Pryce. You don't have my number saved?"
"Oh I do I just didn't look at the screen"

"Nope not at all. Unless being busy is sitting on the couch"
He chuckled," sorry to interrupt. But we need to talk...."

"Actually walking up to your door right now"

I hung up my phone "so what's up?"
"Um remember like yesterday?"
I walked in the house and he followed behind
"Yea when you came here"
"So like. Um ..let me get straight to the point..do you like me?"

I acted dumb
I knew what he meant.
"No. No. I mean do you like me. Like really. Like if I kissed you right now," he walked up to me grabbing my waist, "would you kiss back?"
I got butterflies super bad. If he kissed me rn I'd probably start crying.
"Well um. Pryce. I mean-"
"If not. It's ok too." He let go and stepped back
"No Pryce that's not it. Its just. I do. But I don't wanna get in between you and that girl."
"You can't get in between nothing that hasn't started. And I really wanna be with you. If you wanna be honest nobody else matters to me like you do. "
"Seriously?"
"Real talk. I don't care for no body like I care for you."
He stepped closer grabbing my hand, " baby girl I love you. "
I was so surprised to hear this.
"I love you too."
He grabbed my waist kissing me slowly and softly.
I wrapped my arms around his neck bringing us closer
His lips were softer than they looked.
"Well."
I jumped and pulled away
Looking at diamond in the door way
"We just leave doors open now?"
She walked in
"Nigga. What you want?"
"I need to holler at you for a hot minute."
"I'll go. We can continue this tomorrow." He smirked and kissed my cheek
"Call me when you get home"
"Alt baby girl see you. Bye diamond" he walked out the door closing it behind him
"Bitch what?"
"I spoke to Dylan."
I looked up at her tear stained face.
"What happened"
