Aaaah!!! I wake up and I'm late to school. It's going to be the first day for me and I'm late!?! Wow, nice way to start my school year. OK, so I get up and quickly go take a shower, brush my teeth, and try to make myself look good.
I wore some skinny jeans, a white tight shirt, and some converse. I also put a little makeup which is only a little mascara and eye linear. I don't look that good, but I don't look bad, then I go downstairs and find a note on the kitchen table. I got it and opened it. It said:
Dear sweetie,
Sorry, I had to go to work early today. There is a box cereal on the counter. I didn't have time to make breakfast on your first day. I will also be coming home late. Heat up something from the fridge if u get hungry afterschool and dinner. I'll
Probably be home at 11:30, but I want to come and you're asleep. Ok, bye, have a very a nice day at school .

Ok so as you can see my mom is a person who worries too much. Also, I didn't even introduce myself. Ok, hi I'm Riley Sparks and I just moved to a place named Dinuba. It's in California, but it is a weird name. I am 18 years old and my last year will be here at Dinuba High School. I hope it's a nice school. I have long hair that goes down halfway my back and it's a dark brown blackish color. I also have high cheekbones and greenish hazelish eyes. At my old school I was not that popular, but I was in the popular group, usually quiet and listening to what they said. I went to parties once in a while, but in the end I hardly trusted them with secrets.
I get my bike and start going to school since I missed the bus. I had to put a navigator on my phone since I didn't know the directions. When I arrive and see the school I think that it's a good looking school. Not too bad. I only saw one student outside going to class. He looked late. I ran up to him to ask for help.
"Hi I'm new here and I need to know where the main office is."
"Um... ok, follow me.
We started walking through different places in silence and then finally we were there.
"Thanks"
"No problem, I was going there anyways since I was late."
When we entered the office there was a lady with glasses and dark brown hair with a stern look.
"Jake why are you tardy again. If you give me lame excuses like you always do, you will have after school detention this whole week."
So his name was Jake.
"Um... no I was actually... showing the new girl around because she got lost."
"Oh hi, the woman said. Welcome to Dinuba High School."
"Thank you."
"Yes is it true he was showing you around."
"Ummm... yes."
"Oh well then Jake you don't have after school detention anymore. Next time don't be late. Ok?"
"Ok."
"Well, new girl do you have your schedule?"
"Um no."
"OK I'll print it out for you and Jake take her to her class then go straight to class. You both have an excused tardy, but I don't want this happening again."
She asks for my last name, prints a paper out, then gives me my schedule, she didn't ask for my name, but I guess I was the only Sparks in the school, then I started walking with Jake.
"Can I see your schedule."
"Sure."
"Oh we have 3 classes together."
"Which ones."
"The first class, fourth class, and seventh class."
"Oh."
"Well first period is math so it's hella boring. I hate math."
"Me too."
"Ok let's go in class, the math teacher is pretty strict but since your new she'll be nice to you for a day or two."
"Oh ok."
"Also I didn't get ur name."
"Oh I'm Riley."
"Cute name."
"Oh... uh... thanks."
I felt my cheeks burning, but I was too embarrassed to look at Jake. So, Jake opens the door for me and then everyone is staring at us. I mean everyone. It was weird and awkward. Then from the back I hear a girl say:
"Ewww Jake what are you doing with her."
I felt my face burning I was embarrassed but mad. Everyone I n the class was laughing, except for Jake and the teacher.
"Class calm down and be quiet."
People we're still laughing and giggling.
"Class.... SILENCE!!!"
Wow that math teacher scared the shit out of me, but I was happy no one was laughing at me anymore. Then something bad happened.
"Class we now will listen to the new student introduce herself."
I was gonna embarass myself. I saw that Jake already sat down. He was staring at me just like the rest of the class. I stood up and was hoping everything would be fine.
"Um... hi my.... um name is... is Riley Sparks and I... I moved from um... Florida.
Then I heard loud and clear a girl say:
Isn't the a guy's name. Then she snickered at me and gave me a very bad look.
The class erupted in laughter. I usually will beat the shit out of someone if they do that shit that girl did. I fuckin hated her.
"Anisa please be quiet and stay in after class."
"Ugh oh my God."
So that's her name. All I was thinking is how much I hated Anisa. Fuck her.
