So I am eating an apple for breakfast, and I can't stop thinking about what Mark is going to tell me. I sometimes start staring at him without even noticing. I'm sure he've seen me in the corner of his eye, but he doesn't look at me. Then I am laying on my bed thinking even more about it.
Finally the time comes. The cop comes in to take us to the back, but Mark said that we will not go outside today. The cop gave us a look that meant he didn't believe us. Usually everyone is happy to go get some fresh air. It is like our free time. Then the cop gave us another look like he thought we we're up to something. Then finally he nods and leaves.
"He look very suspicious," I said.
"Who cares. Everything will change anyways," he said.
"Ok what do you mean. Start talking and explain everything," I said impatiently.
It was a good time to talk since there was no cops here at the time. Most of them are outside watching the others.
"Ok I know. That's why you're here," he said. "Ok first of all do you like this place," he said waiting for my answer.
"Hell no. I hate this place with my whole heart," I said in a hard tone.
"I obviously hate it too," he said.
"So what is that supposed to mean," I asked a little more impatiently.
"Ok also what would you do to get a life outside from this crappy miserable place," he asked.
"I would do anything to be away from this hell," I said with a laugh.
"I hoped you'd say that," he said with a smile.
"What exactly do you mean?"
"I have a plan," he said.
"What kind of plan," I said with a serious face.
"A good one," he said with a big evil grin.
"Ok I wanna hear it. What exactly is your plan," I whispered suspiciously.
He smiled.
"Me and you should escape," he said.
"Wait!?! What!?! Are you out of your god damn mind!?!"
"No, I'm just leaving this shitty place," he said. "Your lucky I decided to let you come along. We will have a new better life."
"I never agreed to any of this," I said a little bit more angrily.
"What do you mean," he said with his smile disappearing.
He looked very angry, like he was going to explode. I didn't really care one bit. I wasn't going to let him control me.
"I'm not going to go with you," I said more calmly.
"Why not," he said trying to control his anger.
"Because obviously I'm not a dumbass like you," I said to him.
"Please tell me your joking. Tell me this is all a joke," he said waiting for me to talk.
"It's not. I'm dead serious. If you think I'm joking, then skrew you," I said trying to lower my voice.
"So after everything I've told you, you don't give a shit. You just told me you'd do anything to be outta here and now you're saying you're not coming with me," he said with the angriest face I've ever seen him have.
"Exactly."
"All right. Don't come in my way," he said still angry.
Ok I honestly kinda felt bad for doing this to him. After all the trust he's given me, but I was also thinking of the consequences. Mark wasn't. I'm pretty sure something is going to go wrong then we will get caught. Everything was going through my mind like crazy. Then I wanted to risk it. I wanted to go with him. Something inside of me told me no, but I ignored it. I thought and thought. I knew it was going to be a hard decision. Then I knew I had to tell Mark something so he doesn't escape without me.
"Mark," I said quietly.
"Yes," he said after a minute.
" I might change my mind about you know what," I said so calmly.
"Well you better think about it quickly before it's too late. I'm not going to wait a long time for your answer," he said in a little mean tone.
"I'll tell you first thing tomorrow morning," I replied."
"Ok," he said in a voice that sounded like he really didn't care.
Then I fell right asleep not thinking about what decision I'll make. I only hoped for the best.
