Ring

COLLIN'S POV

I drop Tris off at the house and I head to her dad's and Caleb's house. 

I have been texting Tobias for days now. I want to propose to Tris. I know we haven't been together long but it's what we have been through. And I know we are Only 16 and everything but the way we live this is normal. Lots of people are age are married. 

I have talked to Tobias about it.  He is excited about it. He is going to help me pick her out a ring and everything. 

I pull up in the driveway and shut the car off. I get out and head to the front door. I ring the door bell. Tobias answers.

He told me in text message that he is okay with me proposing. 

He is driving us to get the ring.

"Hello. I'm ready to go if you are Four." I say and he nods.

We head to the car and Tobias drives. We head to a really nice jewelry store and I get out of the car. Tobias  stays.

I open the door and A woman greets me from the checkout counter. 

I got a small loan from the bank and I ask for extra pay from the leader as long as I make it up. I wouldn't be able to pay for it. 

"How can I help you today?" She asks me. 

"I want to propose to my girlfriend and I need a ring."

"We specially make rings. We can pair you up with our designers." I nod and she leads me to a room. she has me to sit at a table with some sketch artists. 

I explain to them what I am thinking. We come up with a single diamond on a gold band for the engagement and a silver ring with an infinity carved on it for the wedding.

It all costs a couple thousand. I hand the lady at the counter the money and I wait hours for them to finish it. They give me them in ring boxes and I can go out to the car. 

Tobias drives me to his house and we talk about it. Then its time to go home. I hop in my car and drive home. Before i get out of the car I put my engagement ring in my pocket so if she says yes i can quickly hand it to her and she puts it on my hand. I put her ring box in my jacket pocket so she doesn't see it. i get out and walk into the house. She is cooking steaks and some other stuff. when I walk in she looks at me and smiles. She takes the food off the stove and dishes it out. Then she walks over to me. We hug and she gives me kiss. 

"Dinner is ready if your'e hungry." She says calmly as she walks away.

"Hey wait." I say nervously. "I need to ask you something I say walking into the space between the living room and kitchen.

"What is it." she asks curiously.
