It kinda hurt.. Lying to my best friend. I shook it off and smiled anyways. Ricky came in. "Hay pretty girl" he said hugging me. "Hay Ricky" I said smiling. He looked at me weird. "What?" I said and he shook his head smiling. "You still got my sweatshirt?" He asked. "Oh yeah! You want it back?" I asked. "Not if you want to keep it" he said smiling. "You want me to keep it?" I said confused. "You keep it, you promise me you won't freeze, you'll wear it." He said and hugged me again.
I thought maybe Bailee had been listening but I was really wrong.. I looked around to find her, there she was. Sitting with Brooklyn laughing and smiling.. I guess I stopped smiling. My heart kinda broke..
I gulped. "Chloe" Ricky said grabbing my hand. "I got you" he said putting his open arm around me. "Trust me this won't last long, Brooke's not the nicest" I couldn't say anything. "I know" i managed to say. We stood there for a minute silent. "I love you Ricky" I said and he smiled at me.
"Really?" He said shocked. "Yes. I really love you" I said smiling at him. "Do you believe me?" I asked. "You no Chloe, I do. I really do. You wanna know why?" He asked. I shook my head. "I believe you because, your eyes just tuned blue again, and your mouth smiled, so did your eyes. I love you too Chloe Elizabeth" he said and hugged me.
I really did love Ricky. But why word Bailee go back to Brooke? Was a too much of a mess for her...?
Thunder struck the place and I jumped. It was now 5:45, late November storms were common this time a year. I calmed down and said "it's okay everyone just some thunder"
Ricky smiled and put his arm around me. There was a pop that scared me and the air heater went off..
I checked to see the temperature and it was 39% my chin dropped. I put on Ricky's sweatshirt and looked out the window. It was poring rain, trees were fighting aggressively to stay up in the vast winds. It was kinda crazy, people fled in and out of stores, trying to stay safe and warm.
Bailee and Brooklyn linked arms and ran to a car I've never seen before. It hurt that Bailee didn't stay and stand by me.
