He was the storm

We kissed for awhile, ate dinner and then he walked me home.
"You remember if anything, at al happens you call me" he said as we approached my tree. "You too Ricky. Promise me" I said and he grabbed both my hands. "I promise" he said and kissed my forehead. "Love you" I said hugging him. "Love you too lukasiak" he said.
I climbed up the tree stopped and waved. I slid in my window and saw Ricky's sweatshirt, the Nike one, I realized I had his clothes on still. I put the sweatshirt on and looked in the mirror and smiled. I looked out my window and he was watching.
I heard someone coming in my room so I stopped smiling and my grandma came in. "Chlo.. Your okay" she said and kissed my forehead.
"I saw you gotta boyfriend?" She said sitting on my bed. I laughed "yeah grandma I did" I laughed. "Do you miss your dad?" She asked and I sat down next to her.
"Of course I do gram, do you..?" I asked. "Oh Chloe. I miss your dad, but not for the reasons you do" she said taking my hand. "Why do you miss him grandma?" I asked. "Because he made you, your sister and your mom happy" she said and I was surprised.
I was silent for a minute. "Grandma I found someone else who made me happy. I promise I'm still happy, and I still laugh and I'm still me. I just wish I was me with my dad around." I shrugged. "You see, your sister Clara doesn't even understand this and she'll be heart broken when she's older and your mom cries every night honey" she said.
"That's true but it won't hurt Clara as much she would already have grown up, and my mom.. She'll find someone else to love. She's to busy raising Clara anyway" I said standing up. That comment wasn't my favorite. "Chloe honey you need to realize hat just because your happy cause of a stupid boy who will end up leaving too, doesn't mean your family is happy. You need to talk to your mom, cry with your sister and be with us!" My grandma said and left.
