Inside and out BBP

Chapter 3

I grabbed my purple penny board and made my way through the quiet neighborhoods of LA . Yeah the neighborhoods are so much quiter than the actual streets .

I called my best friend Katie

"Katie! So I have some exciting news! "

"And what would that be?"

"Well you can find out I'm just one block away from your house so grab your bad boy and get ready ."

"Okay so that must mean you're on your baby right? "

"Ya there's no way my mom would let me drive the range pffft I wish!"

"Okay so I'll see you soon."

"Yep."

With that I hang up and as I turn the last corner to get to Katie's house i see a car, not knowing if it were stopping or not I kept going . I know huge mistake! The driver just barely hit my leg as I was reaching the other end of the sidewalk .

"ouch! What the?!"

His mom and him stepped out of the car and ran toward me.

"I'm so sorry I'm just letting my son take the car for a ride he has his permit and is just practicing a bit more." The mom said

"Yeah I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hit you it's just ya know I'm kinda getting used to it. Are you okay?"

He smiled and slowly took off his sunglasses .

"Getting used to hitting people? "i laughed and shrugged awkwardly ? "Uhm yeah I'll be fine it was just a little scratch ." I rubbed my leg and just smiled making sure not to make a huge deal .

"Would you like our information?" His mom said

"No I think I'll be fine , it wasn't too bad but if I could get your names that'd be fine."

"Yes I'm Kathy Mann and this is my son Zac Mann . "

"Okay and I'm Ana by the way." I stood up from the ground trying hard not to limp.

"Well Ana do you need a ride since you can't really move now?" Zac asked

"No thanks I think I'll be fine."

So with that they got back into their car and drove away

I walked the rest of the way to Katie's house. What was only 4 houses but felt like it took an hour .

I walk up to her door and before I could knock she opens it and attacks me with a hug

"Hey Katie nice to see you , um do you think you have some wrap for my leg?" I asked

Katie slowly looked down and her eyes opened wide

"Woah ANA ! What happened?!"

We walked in her house and not surprised her parents weren't home , they aren't usually home so that's why we hang out at her house. Her, me and David .

I take a seat on the couch and lay out my leg on the foot stool.

"So Ana explain how this happened! "

She said as she grabbed the disinfecting spray and wrap. We were used to doing these types of stuff well because she rides her skateboard and my baby being my penny board .

"Well I was on the last block and this guy hit me but barely so I didn't bother to get all that info." I said as I looked at my knee *now that I think of it it's kinda bad*

"You're lucky your mom wasn't there she would've been all over it." She explained

"I know I wouldn't hear the end of it so gotta keep this covered up until its better."

"Are you going to be able to ride still? And why were you coming anyway?"

"Oh yeah ill be fine and let's head to the mall ! Gotta go job hunting and all that." I smiled thinking about how I'm actually getting a job!

"Haha okay and ill get one too I had permission long ago but I was too lazy ."

"Okay! Lets do it!"

We walked out her house and she locked the door behind her.

Wait so how did Zac get into this? Haha I think Ana will be seeing some more of Zac ;) well comment , vote , share tell me if I should write more or not.
