Chapter 6

To my surprise Chris was talking to zac I'm pretty sure they've been here for awhile since Chris was on his shift.

" David ! Hey you work tomorrow right? " Chris said as they did a little hand shake

"Yeah I'm just here with them to drop off their applications ."

Katie and I walked over to the counter to set down our applications and Zac walked up to us.

"Ana right? It's weird how we met up again" he said with a warming smile

"Yeah and this is Katie "

" oh hey" her back was turned towards him so she didn't bother to look back .

That's when i yanked on to her shirt

"Katie manners ! "

"Oh sorry I was just ...." She slowly turned and didn't even finish her sentence she just gazed at zac and that's when I snapped at her and she broke from it.

"Anyways I'm sorry about earlier looks like you got some good medical help. " he laughed

"Yeah Katie here wrapped me up."

"And you let her do it? "

"Well yeah we do it all the time skater probs."

"Yeah " Katie agreed "we don't have to be doctors to know how to wrap stuff "

"Okay ... Well what brings you guys here? " he asked

"We are actually applying for a job here."

"Cool that's means ill be seeing you guys around " 😊

"Why is that? Are you like a normal customer here?" Katie asked

"You can say that I work here too but I use my employee discount to buy shoes"

"Well nice meeting you" she said

"Yeah and I think you should be more careful in the streets"

I said in a joking yet serious matter .

"Yeah thanks for the help" he walked out

We walk to the back of the store and grab our uniforms and name tags and walked back to the front.

"So this will be an interesting job don't you think ?" I asked Katie

"Why do you say that?" She replied

"I think someone has a little thing for zac"

"HA Ana did he hit you a little too hard ? I just met the kid"

"Yeah that's my point you just met but if you saw your face when you turned oh Jesus "

"Ana ya cálmate calm down its nothing "

"Whatever you say"

We walked over to David and Chris and listened in to their conversation

"So you sure you want to let these two crazies work here?" David asked

"Yeah I'm sure they seem ready for it"

"Chris don't let David here influence you to think anything else I promise we will be the best workers" I said

"I have no doubts with you two so see you guys tomorrow morning ? 6:45am "

"Yeah! Well we have to get going but see you tomorrow"

"Where do you guys have to go? You guys never have plans anyway ." David joked "haha well bye Chris see you tomorrow"

I grabbed David's hand and pulled him out the door.

"David you love to mess with us huh?"

"All the time" he smiled

Katie was already at the car door and yelling at us to walk faster

"I'll race you David !" I smiled

"Ready set !" He ran off as he said "GOOOOOO!!!"

"You little !" I ran right behind him

We got to the car and hopped in while catching our breaths

"So let's just stay at my house?" Katie offered

"If its cool with your parents?" David said

Little back story : once my parents were out with my siblings and left Katie David and I home alone their worst mistake ever but anyway we were there and David brought a couple of "friends" over and things got crazy they pretty much blamed David and didn't want him over but after I took the blame they let stuff slide I was grounded for months but at least I still get to see David and Katie .

"I'm sure Katie's parents don't mind plus you can sleep on the couch in katies rooms this time " I said .

"Okay what about your parents?"she asked

"I'll just text them they'll let me stay no problem"

We headed for Katie's house
