The Adventurous Journey

Chapter 3

             As Ike closed his door, and was heading downstairs, he glanced and quickly saw Link. Ike whispered to everyone, “Guys, we got to go. NOW”. “How come?”, Samus whispered back. “Just saw Link from a distance. We need to head to a local city or town”, Ike explained as he was whispering. Everyone tried to think of a local town to hide at, and Rosalina asked, “How about we hide in Byoak”? “Yeah! Perfect town. Lets go”, Ike whispered.

            Captain Falcon had his car ready and they all got into the car and left. Byoak (pronounced By-Oak) is a large town which nobody knows about which it’s desert and little grass. “Uh, Captain Falcon. Where in the hell are we going? Because it’s in the middle of no where”, Samus asked. “Byoak. That’s where we’re going”, Captain Falcon replied back. “Isn’t that in the middle of nowhere, but yet it’s a large town that nobody knows about”, Rosalina added. “Yeah. They’ll never find us”, Snake replied. “Yeah, I hope so”, Zelda frightenly said. “Hey, no worries! You’re going to be fine, Zelda. I can guarantee that”, Ike said to Zelda. She nodded and closed her eyes. “Why are your eyes closed”, Ike asked Zelda. She took a while to reply back saying, “Just something pretty romantic honestly”, Zelda replied back slow and soft.

            As they got to Byoak, Samus said, “Hey, Captain Falcon, Rosalina, Snake and I are going to set up. You guys can stay in the car”. “Yeah, that’s fine”, Zelda replied happily. While they were setting up, Zelda and Ike were talking about something deep. “Hey Ike. Have you ever thought that there’s going to be that one special person in your life that would mean the world to you?”, Zelda asked him. “Yeah, I felt like that sometimes. I’m not a romantic person, you know. The only time I get very romantic is when I’m with someone who dearly means this whole entire planet to me”, Ike replies back. “Is it shocking that I never had my first kiss before?”, Zelda asked. “Whoa! Really? Same here! That’s weird though”, Ike realizes. “Although, I don’t think that it’s going to happen. Forever alone”, Zelda sadly replies. Ike sits close to Zelda and adds, “No. You will not be forever alone. You’ll find that special someone who will love you for you. Not anything else. How come Link dated you?”, Ike told her. “My mom. She forces me to date guys that I’d never usually date. He only liked me because of my looks. He really doesn’t give a shit about my personality and what’s going on. It made me sick. That’s why at Smash Mansion, I broke up with him, so my mom doesn’t find out. Although, she’ll find out soon or later”, Zelda explained. “Wow. That’s pretty fucked up. If I was your boyfriend, I’d love you for who you are, not anything different. You should already know that”, Ike explained to her. “Its just, I never knew about my father at all. Maybe he abandonded my mother and I because we were probably poor at the time. I’ve never had a guy love me… for me. It’s pretty hard now these days to find someone who truly loves you regardless if you look like shit or many more”, Zelda mentions. Ike goes closer to Zelda’s face and explains, “Zelda… Gorgeous, I’m not one of those douchebags who would say I love you and then flirt with another girl. And trust me, a lot of your guy friends love you for who you are. Because I’m one of them and I seriously do love you for you. You should get that stuck into your head”. Zelda and Ike were staring into each others eyes and Ike adds on, “I really love your eyes”. “I love your eyes, too”, Zelda replied. They kept staring into each others eyes and Zelda said, “Oh! Looks like they’re done setting up! Lets go”. As Zelda got out of the van, Ike sat there in love heaven then got out of the car.

(Ike’s POV)

            Dude, Zelda and I had the deepest but yet romantic conversation ever. I’d never thought I’d feel like this ever before. I think I’m starting to fall for her, although I don’t want any bad things to happen to us. Anyways, I finally have my first crush on a lovely, amazing, gorgeous girl. I do feel bad for her and what she has to go through. I can’t even imagine myself going through what she has to go through. At the same time, I’m very proud of her standing up for what she believes in towards her mother. She really does have the strength.

            “Okay! Of course we’ll sleep in cars sadly. But two of you will sleep in the RV Rosalina brought us. Ike and Zelda will be sleeping in there, Captain Falcon and Rosalina will sleep in car one, and Snake and I will sleep in car two”, Samus explained. I was too thrilled when I found out that I’m sharing the RV with Zelda. It got me too excited. Once everybody went to their cars, Zelda asked, “Do you want to go inside yet or no”? “Well, just in case if they find out we’re here then lets go inside”, I replied back.

(Inside the RV)

            As they put their things in the RV, Rosalina comes to the door and says, “Oh hey. By the way, you guys can keep the RV. I don’t need it anymore”. “Oh! Thanks”, Zelda thanked. “No problem. Good night”, Rosalina replied. As Rosalina went to bed, Ike asked, “Have you got any info from Marth yet”? “Yeah. Marth said that my mom found Link and they’re going to search for me tomorrow morning at 10”, Zelda replied. “Oh shit. We need to tell the others”, Ike replied frightened. “Marth has Samus, Snake, Captain Falcon and Rosalina’s numbers. They’ll get it”, Zelda says as she tries to calm himself down. “We need sleep if we’re going to leave early”, Zelda added and says, “Good night Ike. Love you”. Ike couldn’t contain himself after Zelda said “I love you” to him.

(At Smash Mansion)

            “Link! Link! We need to find Zelda”, Zelda’s Mom, Ruth yelled. “What’s going on Ruth?”, Link asked. “Zelda went to Ike’s house then when I went back to her apartment, she isn’t there. We need to find her”, Ruth explained to him. “You got it. Peach, you want to come with me?”, Link asked. “Yes. Of course Link”, Peach replied and added, “I really want to see pathetic Zelda, ugly Samus and jealous Rosalina”. “We need to get rest for tomorrows journey. Get food and supplies you need for the journey”, Link explained. “You got it. Good night”, Peach said as she was walking away. As Link was walking to his apartment, he whispered to himself, “I am so done with Ike, Captain Falcon and Snake. They’ll get payback”.
