Lunch couldn't finish soon enough and I was so glad when it did. "I'll see you guys later" I said looking at both of my friends and they nodded as I walked away. I hadn't seen Grayson during lunch but I tried to not think much about it because I didn't like the fact that he seemed to be constantly in my thoughts. I was walking back to my locker to put away my lunchbox and get my books for my next classes when I heard someone call my name and I turned around to see Grayson running towards me. Before my brain even processed what was happening I already felt a smile on my face and it was insane how my mood had instantly improved by just being near him. "Hey" I smiled as he caught up to me and he returned the smile. "Hi" he said softly and looked down at me making me blush. "I didn't see you during lunch" I said and looked away from him,trying to get rid of some of the tension from when he had looked at me. "Yeah I'm sorry about that. I met this guy and he let me sit at his table with his friends" he said and I nodded. "that's good. who is it?" I asked and looked over at him as we continued to walk. "Ryan" he said and my heart stopped. "Um Ryan?" I said feeling like I had heard wrong. "Yeah is there something wrong?" he asked obviously concerned and I shook my head quickly. "no. nothing's wrong I'm fine" I said softly not wanting to meet his gaze. This day had just taken another turn for the worst
