Truth or Dare

Stuck with the bad boy

I woke up, with Luke sleeping beside me. Since I was bored, I grabbed my water bottle from my backpack I had on when I got here. I wasn't thirsty, so I thought it would be fun to throw all the water on Luke's face for fun. He woke up covered in cold water.

"Emma! What the heck! Why did you do that to me?!" He yelled. I started giggling. "Because I was bored." I said. Laughing until I couldn't breathe.

But I wasn't laughing anymore soon, because Luke picked me up and started walking to the lake.

"Luke? What are you doing-" I was cut off by getting thrown into the lake. "LUKE! IM GONNA KILL YOU!" I yelled playfully. "Not if you can't catch me first." He said, laughing at me. I wasn't far deep in the water, so I swam to the edge where the water met with the ground. Luke was running to get away, but I successfully tripped him and caused him to fall in the water with me. "Now whos laughing?" I said.

"You." He said. "And wanna know who's laughing next?" He asked. "Who?" I questioned. "Me!" He said. He started splashing me with water and dunking my head under. I couldn't help but laugh.

When I stopped laughing and calmed down, Luke and I sat and talked about relationships and everything.

"You know? Why aren't you always bullying me like everyone else is?" I asked. "Because I like you." He said. "What do you mean? Like, as a friend?" I asked. "No. More than a friend." He said. I blushed.

"What are we? Like, we aren't really friends, but we are more than best friends now. What does that make us?" I asked, curious. "Well... I guess you're my girlfriend then." He said, smirking at me. I blushed even more and hid my face. "Dont hide your beautiful face from me." He said laughing. "Why not?" I asked smiling. "Because I need to see it." He said. "Why?" I asked, looking up at him. "Because I need to!" He repeated again. "Is it because you get lonely?" I asked, about to laugh again. "No." He said, cracking up at me. "Just let me try something." He said to me. I looked up and met his eyes. "Try wha-" He smashed his lips into mine.

For the second time we kissed. His lips were so soft. He always sent a quick shock through me every time he kissed me.

It was like everything just started getting all jumpy and excited inside me. It was like nothing I've ever felt before.

He pulled back after a few seconds to breathe. He looked down at me and started smiling. I did the same. "Emma, dont let anyone bring your spirit down. I love you." He said. My jaw dropped. He loved me. He really loves me.

"I love you too Luke." I said.

I leaned against his shoulder and looked into his eyes. I kissed him again. I couldn't help myself. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world.

I admitted it. I love Luke. The dare was worth it. I leaned on Luke's shoulder and got tired,
So I started falling asleep.

"Getting tired kitten?" Luke asked. "Yes." I said. "Then let's go to bed." He said. "Ok." I muttered. We went to our sleeping area and Luke fell asleep first, then I fell asleep on his chest.

This was the best night of my life.
