Elena's POV

After all the new kids said their names I noticed the one that said his name was Stiles, he seemed so intrigued just sitting their at the table.He was kinda cute in a dorky kind of way.But his friend was so much more attractive.

"Alright, lets give you guys the tour."Caroline said and clapped her hands.

They all followed after Caroline walked out.Bonnie and I stayed in the back of the group.

"That Scott guy is kinda cute so is his buddy Stiles." I Said to Bonnie and she just laughed
"Yeah too bad I think he's with that Malia girl attached to his arm."Bonnie replies
"Yeah."

"What classes do you guys have."Caroline asked
They all took out their schedules and Caroline led Kira and Allison to their first period class, Pre-Calc with Mrs. Levy. Bonnie led Liam to history with Mr.Tanner. I took Malia, Scott, and Stiles to P.E with Coach Roberts. Malia and I went to the girls locker room. I hand her one of my extra shirts and shorts.
"Thanks" she says and starts changing.
Once we were both changed we head out to the field to find Stiles and Scott sitting on a bench and talking to Matt.They were in Mystic Falls navy blue gym shorts and tee shirts.
I hugged Matt, it was the first time I saw him since he left in the beginning of summer vacation.
" I see you've met Stiles and Scott."
"Yeah." He responded
"Well this is Malia another one of the new kids and one of their friends."
"Hi." He said and shook her hand

Coach Roberts came up to the field looking especially grumpy.I think it has to do with his cross country team placing 5th in the first meet of the season.
"Alright all of you laps!!" He yelled
We all went to the starting line waiting for the whistle.He blew it and we were off.

Scotts POV
"Alright all of you laps!!" The coach yelled
Why was he in such a bad mood. Stiles looked at me worried, I just laughed.
Stiles grabbed my arm,"laps! For 45 minutes!Kill me right now!"
I laughed as Malia just kissed him and ran to the starting line. As soon as the whistle blew everyone ran. Elena, Matt and Malia were at the front of the group.
About 30 minutes into the running Malia starts to burn out as well as Matt and I, Stiles has been pushing himself to catch up to Malia but when he couldn't he just jogged with me. A lot of people were burning out except Elena, she was running at a steady pace in the front barely breaking a sweat. The coach yelled and told us all to sit down. We did and everyone was gasping for water.Stiles ran like his life depended on it towards the water fountain. When we came back the coach started talking to the group.
"Alright punks, one on one races!"
Stiles turned to me and it looked like he was gonna cry.
"Matt Donavan and Scott Mcall!" We went to the track and got in our ready positions.
"One lap...Go!" Matt was in good shape he almost beat me but my werewolf speed helped me in the end beating him by 13.7 seconds.
"Elena Gilbert and Malia Hale!" Elena ran to the starting line.Malia turned back to me and said," time to see what she's made of." And grinned as she left flashing me her blue eyes.Malia liked a challenge and she loved running now was her chance to see what happens when they go head to head.

"Ready set go!" Coach Roberts yelled and they were off.Malia sprinted and got a slight head start but Elena caught up really quickly. I could see Malia struggling to catch up to her and Stiles noticed it too he looked at me with a face that looked both concerned and intrigued. Elena won the race beating Malia by 11.4 seconds. Malia walked towards us with a worried look," It was hard to catch up with her.She was faster than me." She said and sat down on the bleachers.
"Malia, Elena right here right now!" The coach yelled, Malia looked irritated but went to meet the coach.
When she returned she just said plainly," apparently I'm now on the cross country team and I have no choice"

Elena POV
I am so mad, the coach is now putting me on the cross country team and I couldn't compel him with Malia standing right there.I enjoy running especially with vamp speed but I don't want to do it on a team.Sure it'll help with college scholarships but I'm now immortal who needs college when you have immortality?

I was in the locker room showering in the shower next to Malia while the other girls and boys were completing their races. Malia stepped out of the shower without a towel just like normal and starts changing.Now that I wasn't all sweaty and disgusting I changed into my dress and started drying my hair with my towel, Malia was doing the same. Slowly the locker room was filling up with more and more girls all lining up to shower so they can get to their next class. I was walking with Malia and Scott and Stiles to History with Mr.Tanner. A bunch of kids wave or stare at me as we walk the hallways. I won't see Caroline, Stefan, Matt or Bonnie today except for lunch and after school. Most of my classes are with Scott, Stiles, Malia, Tyler and Rebekah who has recently enrolled herself to try and be at least slightly normal.
