Elena's POV
I wake up feeling hazy. The light burns my eyes and my throat is dry. I'm craving for blood. The mess on my neck is spreading slowly, I think they modified it somehow. I've been locked in here for at least one week and everyday the pain worsens! What can't it just kill me already!
Marina walks in and injects me with vervain and soon everything turns black.
I wake up and it's really cold. Usually they have the heater on at night but then I realize that I'm not in the warehouse anymore, I'm in the forest. I really don't believe this so I close my eyes and open them expecting to be back in the warehouse but I'm not. I use my hearing to listen for a car, or even just the simple voice of others. I hear a car and speed toward it. I drain the woman driving of all her blood and leave her there for the police to find.
I walk for about 2 miles when I see a very familiar building. The Salvatore boarding house. I speed towards it and as soon as I open the door I'm stabbed in the stomach by a stake.
I'm still weak so I can't pull it out, instead I run away and kill the next person I see which is closer to town.
