Elena's POV

I wake up in a cold warehouse surrounded by about 7 bodies all drained of blood. Somehow that doesn't really seem to faze me at all all that seems to bother me at the moment is the coldness of the warehouse.

I head out onto the streets of Mystic Falls and see all these familiar faces yet I can't place them anywhere. It's like I know all the aspects of my life but not the specifics. All I can remember now is that my name is Elena Petrova and I live in mystic falls. i'm also a vampire and doppelgänger but that's all.

As I walk I try to remember more until I'm in the town cemetery and for some odd reason it's already dark out. How long have I been walking for?

"Hey Elena" I hear voice from behind me and see a guy with messy dirty blonde hair as he approaches me

"What do you want!" I scream at him and soon enough tons of other people start to appear.

"Elena are you okay?" he asks me

"Who are you!"

He looks shocked at what i just asked but then replies, "It's me...Alaric." When he sees that I don't recognize him he asks again," Do you seriously not remember me?" He seemed hurt at this point

I turn around in a circle and see that I'm surrounded and everyone seems confused as to why I don't recognize this Alaric person.

I show my fangs and growl at all of them so then a girl draws an arrow and points it right at me. I attack her first. I throw her against a tree and then everyone jumps into action and tries to sedate me. this one guy with a british accent and blonde hair almost snapped my back but I managed to get free and snap his. A wolf jumps onto me but I throw it off and bite a huge piece of meat out of it leaving it wounded on the ground. A guy with icy blue eyes and black hair grabs me from behind and puts a needle in my neck making my vision slightly blurry but before I black out i manage to bite him and a fragile looking pale faced boy. Then everything went black.
