I'm done

"Harry? Nicki?" I said still confused.

"Umm.. Hi Ami." Harry said trying to hide his face.

"What are you doing here?" Nicki said while blushing.

"I was going to ask the same thing. Hey Nicki, how's Ashton?" I said while crossing my arms.

"Who?" Harry said while looking at Nicki.

"Oh! She didn't tell you? Ashton is.." I was saying till Nicki cut me off.

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" She yelled at me.

"Why don't you make me?" I said angrily to her. Nicki just stood there because I knew she wouldn't fight me.

"That's what I though. Ashton is Nicki's boyfriend." I said to Harry.

"What?" He said while looking at Nicki.

"Um.. No were not dating. We're just close friends." Nicki said to Harry.

"Didn't seem like it when you guys were making out at Michael's house the other day." Luke said to Nicki.

"Stay out of this Luke!" Nicki yelled at Luke.

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT!" I yelled at Nicki.

"What you going to do about it?!" She yelled at me.

I was so angry. I couldn't help it. I punched her face. She fell on the ground and started to cry.

"I've been putting up through your shit since kindergarten and I'm done with you! I'm done! You thought I took your hate like it was nothing? Well you're wrong! Because of you, I've had depression my whole life! Do you know why I have these bracelets on everyday? IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE CUTS UNDER THEM! A reason I have them is because of you. That's just one reason. I have more but you're a big part of this! You put me through so much pain, and now it's time you got what you deserve." I yelled at her before walking away.

Luke stood in shock of what happened. He didn't know I cut or had depression. He stood there for about a minute. While he stood there, Harry ran after me.

"AMI!" He ran screaming at me.

"If you're going to say I need to apologise to your precious girlfriend, you got another thing coming!" I yelled at him while still walking.

"Is it true you have depression?" He said while stopping me.

"Why would you care? Nobody else does. You should just check on your girlfriend." I said while tears streamed down my face.

"I care because I like you. I have since the first day of glee club." He said while grabbing my hand.

"I have a boyfriend Harry. You seem nice and all, but I love Luke. I'm sorry." I said to him while pulling my hand away.

"I can tell you like me too though. You might love Luke, but you do have feelings for me too." He said.

"No Harry. I have to go." I said while trying to deny the truth. I do like him a little. But I still love Luke.

I walked away and Harry walked the other way. Then Luke ran after me.

"AMI! WAIT UP!" He yelled while running.

"I'm sorry Luke I ruined tonight. It was supposed to be fun but I just turned it into drama and sadness." I said while crying again.

"Ami, you didn't ruin it. There's still time to do stuff." He said while holding my hand.

"Like what?" I said looking down and still crying.

"We can go watch the fireworks." He said to me.

"I guess..." I said while still having my head down.

He lifted my chin then wiped off my tears.

"Cheer up babe. It'll be ok." He said while pulling me in closer.

Then I leaned in and kissed him for a second.

"Let's go watch the fireworks." I said while walking to the fireworks.

We walked to the dock to watch the fireworks. The fireworks started and I thought they were so pretty. Luke put his arm around my waist and I put my head on his shoulder.

After about 5 minutes they were over and then we walked home. It was about 6 so it was sort of early.

When we got home I ran up to my room and just sat down.

Luke walked in my room and saw I still looked upset. He sat next to me and put his arm around my waist again. Then I laid my head on his shoulder and I cried again.

"What's wrong Ami?" He said looking at me.

"I can't believe I told her I cut myself. She's going to tell the whole school. She'll also tell everyone I punched her. She's going to make the whole school hate me. I don't want more hate than I already get." I said while wiping my tears.

"Ami, it will be fine. I'll always love you. And the boys will too. That will never change." He said while kissing my head.

"But I'll get bullied more." I said while hugging him.

"Is that why you cut yourself?" He asked.

"Part of the reason..." I said while looking at my bracelets.

"Why else?" He asked.

"You know why my dad doesn't live here? It's because he's in jail. He abused me and my mom. He got drunk a lot and hurt us. He finally got caught and he got arrested." I said while taking off my bracelets all up both my arms.

He stared at my cuts. He started crying. Then he grabbed my arm and he kissed my cuts.

"I can't believe that. That's terrible. But I just wish you would stop cutting. I love you and hate to see you in pain." He said while still crying.

"I've tried. But I have cuts on my stomach too. And it's hard to stop something I've done for years now." I said while covering my stomach.

All he did was lift me up and put me on his lap. I cried into his shoulder.

"I'll protect you. You don't have anything to worry about Ami." He said while holding me tightly.

After about 5 minutes of sitting there with him, I got up and grabbed some shorts and a tank top to wear.

I went to the bathroom to change then came back and saw him with his shirt off and his boxers on.

"I told Ashton." He said with his phone in his lap.

"About Nicki?" I asked while walking toward him.

"Yeah. He seems upset but he needed to know one way or another." He said while putting his phone in his bag.

"I feel bad for Ash." I said while getting under the covers.

"I do too. But he deserves better. So, should I sleep on the floor or what?" He asked while getting up.

"No! Come here." I said while moving over to make room.

He laid next to me and put his arms around my stomach.

I turned my head to look at him.

"Luke, you're the best thing that ever happened to me." I said while a tear streamed down my face.

He wiped my tear and kissed me. Then we went to sleep in each others arms.
