Don't Leave

I hear Nicki start screaming at me. "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE BEHIND HIM?!?! BECAUSE OF YOU, HE MIGHT BE DEAD!!" Is she really blaming me for this? I can't even yell back at her. I'm still in shock of what happened. All I can do right now is cry and stare at Harry's body covered in blood. Can Harry really be dead? No. He can't. I wish he would say something so I'll know he's still here.

The cops finally are here. They grab Nicki while she tries to fight back, but the cops put handcuffs on her. "Ma'am?" A officer says while tapping on my shoulder.

I turn around and try to speak but words can't come out. Only tears could come out.

"It's fine. The ambulance is here now to help your friend. We just need to ask you a few questions." The officer says while trying to calm me down.

"Th-that's f-f-fine... Can you ask m-me later?" I say through my sobs. The officer nods.

I turn around to see Harry being lifted onto a gurney. They run him to the ambulance, and I follow.

When Harry was in the ambulance, I jumped in and stood next to him the whole way to the hospital. I kept holding his hand while trying to hold back my tears. "You'll be ok Harry... I love you..." I whispered to him. Wait... Did I really say that? Do I love him? I think after all this happening, I'm just saying things. I think I'm just still in shock.

*Harry POV*

What happened to me? I can't move. I can't do anything. Not even breathe correctly. I can't even open my eyes. I could feel a sharp pain in my chest.. Memories are flowing back. Nicki told me to move but I protected Ami. I guess she shot me. Am I dead? Am I in heaven? I try opening my eyes but nothing happens. I can't see anything, but I can hear people. And sirens. And crying? Is that Ami?

I feel myself being lifted up. I'm guessing it's the ambulance. I feel someone holding my hand and talking to me. "You'll be Harry... I love you..." Wow. It is Ami. She said she loves me. I want to tell her I love her back but I can't move. I can't speak. All I can do is listen. Feel. And think.

I feel my heartbeat slowing down and I hear people yelling. "HIS HEARTBEAT IS GETTING SLOWER! WE NEED TO BRING HIM TO SURGERY RIGHT NOW!" I'm guessing it was a paramedic. I'm getting very sleepy and all the noises start to fade out. Everything goes away slowly.

*Ami POV*

While the ambulance was rushing to the hospital, I kept thinking about Harry. I kept thinking if he would live after this. If he knows what's happening. If he could hear me talking to him. I blacked out for a moment, but as soon as I knew it, we were at the hospital and a paramedic yelled, "HIS HEARTBEAT IS GETTING SLOWER! WE NEED TO BRING HIM TO SURGERY NOW!"

"Wait! Surgery? When will the surgery be over?!" I yelled while they rushed Harry out of the ambulance and into the hospital.

The paramedics ignored me and kept running to get him to surgery. I kept running after them, but a nurse stopped me.

"Your friend will be just fine. He just needs to go to surgery to get the bullet out of his chest. The surgery will take about and hour at the least." The nurse said while trying to calm me down.

I yelled at her, "AT THE LEAST?!?! I can't wait that long to know if he's ok. I need to know now!"

"I'm sorry ma'am. Well let you know as soon as possible." The nurse said while walking where the paramedics ran Harry to. Another nurse came to me to show me where I can sit to wait for Harry to be out of surgery.

To pass time by and to stop thinking of negative things, I check my phone to see if anyone texted or called me.

I sent Harry to see if you're ok. Please call me

Now Harry won't answer his phone. Please tell me you're ok!

Ok I'm really worried now... Please call me.

I called Luke and told him what happened.. He seems scared too. He said he'll call you too and see if you're ok

Oh shit.. I forgot about Luke. I hope he's ok.

Baby... Please call me I need to hear your voice.

I guess I should call Bella first because she called first.

Me: Bella?

Bella: AMI ARE YOU OK?! WHAT HAPPENED?! IS HARRY THERE?! MAY I KILL NICKI?!

Me: Bella, I'm fine. Well, physically.. And Harry, he's not so fine...

Bella: What happened to him? Did Nicki do something?

Me: Well... Nicki shot him. He's in surgery right now..

Bella: Oh Ami... It'll be ok. What hospital? I'll be there as soon as I can.

Me: utmb. Please come quick. I need a friend right now...

Bella: ok. I'll be there in about 5 minutes.

I hang up and start crying again. I keep having the image in my head of Harry's body covered in blood.

*Call from: Luke <3*

I really don't know if I want to talk anymore about what happened... But I know he's worried so I'll answer.

Me: Hi Luke

Luke: Ami! Are you ok?! What happened?

Me: Luke, I'm fine. Don't worry about it. Nicki got arrested.

Luke: well where are you now? I'll come get you.

Me: no.. Don't get me. I need to stay here. Harry got shot and now he's in surgery.

Luke: wait, HARRY was there? HARRY?!

Me: yes.. What's the problem..?

Luke: Harry is always where you are. He keeps trying to steal you from me.

Me: wait, what are you talking about? Harry just got SHOT, and you don't even care? He's my friend Luke. I can't believe you would say that about him.

Luke: I'm sorry babe... He just makes me a little jealous sometimes.

Me: well now isn't the time to be jealous, Luke. My friend just got shot and you don't even care about that. I'm sorry I have to go. Bye.

Luke: wait ba-

I hung up before he could say anything. I can't even think of anything right now. Only Harry is on my mind.

"AMI!" I hear someone yell. It was Bella.

"Hi Bella." I say still sounding a bit upset.

"AMI WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE?!" She yelled.

I touched the side of my face and flinched because it stung really bad. I've been thinking of Harry so much I forgot about Nicki's guy punching me.

"One of Nicki's friends punched me..." I said in almost a whisper.

"Aw Ami.." She says while hugging me.

I cry into her shoulder while she tries comforting me.

After hugging her for a while, we sat down and I laid my head on her shoulder then fell asleep.
