Thanks to Baekhyun and his roommate Chen & Chanyeol, I got up on the terrace in time for Inspection.
After inspection I laid on my bed over thinking. I want to become your best friend! Baekhyun seemed harmless.. No! He got my my first punishment points. But then again, this is the first time i've had fun ever since I move to this school.. First time i've talked to anyone here..
The next morning, I walked into class seeing Baekhyun not there. What the- did he get into trouble? Did he get caught because of me? I ended up thinking about him the entire class.. Classes passed by quickly, After school I went to Baekhyun & I's "Hangout spot."
Of course he wasn't there. I sat there watching our football teams' practice. I took out my notebook and continued writing lyrics. Honestly.. this is a good place to write songs.
"I'm assuming this is a yes?"
I quickly shut my book and looked up. I placed my hand over my forehead blocking the sun's light.
"What do you mean?" Baekhyun swung his arms and sat beside me. "Can I see your notebook?"
I tightly hugged my notebook and shook my head no. "But we're best friends now!" "Since when?"
Baekhyun approached my face as I continued leaning back. What the heck.. Best friends don't do this. "Starting from today. It was your decision and you accepted it by coming to our hangout place after school." Damn it Byun Baekhyun, Did you play with me?
"Did you eat yet?" "No, where we're you today? Did you skip class?" Baekhyun smiled and looked at the football field avoiding my eyes. "Yes and No."
What kind of an answer is that?
"What?" "Well, I did became sick. But It was bearable. So I could've went to class but, I just didn't feel like it." I nodded my head. "Come lets go eat." Baekhyun grabbed my backpack and then again grabbed me to the laundry room.
"What the-" "Ta-Da!" Baekhyun managed to get outside food to come in the school. "Yah! You know we're not allowed to eat outside food from here!"
Baekhyun Shrugged his shoulders. "No teacher comes in here, trust me." Here we are again with the trust, trust. "Plus, c'mon you can't resist Jajangmyun!" Ja-Jajangmyun?? My lips formed into a small smirk, then I found myself approaching to him, and began eating. As I looked up I noticed Baekhyun smiling at me.. What's up with you and always smiling?"
Baekhyun grabbed a napkin and wiped the corner of my mouth.
"There's no reason not to be happy." I looked at Baekhyun eat then continued eating.
2 weeks has passed by, and Surprisingly Baekhyun became my closest friend. I started becoming comfortable near him, we started knowing things about each other that no one knew about us. But these past couple of days Baekhyun had been distant around me. Everytime I walk in the cafeteria, I always see him with the popular people. He always either just smiles or waves at me.. But, I can't be like this. Or soon he'll find out i'm a clingy person, and leave me.. I kind of knew this was going to happen. Baekhyun seemed like that type of person who would become close with anyone. His looks, talent, and personality just whoo's anyone. With midterms 1 week away, everyone has been asking me for my notes. Baekhyun has changed me, I became friends with many people thanks to him. But theres one person I just can't understand. Kwon Soo Ah. Apparently she's my rival. My rival in school, sports & academics and talent. Sadly she is also my roommate along with Ji Eun and Sandara.
"Byul, wait up!" Could it be? I finally heard Baekhyun's voice after 5 days. I turned around and faced him. "Yeah Baekhyun?"
"Can I borrow your notes for Midterms?" I felt a slight disappointment in myself.. I thought he was finally gonna start a conversation with me, but I suppose not. "Ye-yeah." I grabbed my notes from my backpack and handed it to him. "Thanks Byul! I'll give these back after Midterms! I'll see ya later!"
I put my backpack back on and continued walking down the halls.
"Disappointed?" I looked up and saw Soo Ah. Great, what does she want now. "No. Why?" She then crossed her arms, acting like she was all that. "Oh, nothing. Wait. Your backpack is opened, let me get that for you." Thats odd.. Soo Ah? Doing an act of kindness thing? "Th-thanks." "No prob! See ya later Byul!" I walked away with an confused expression. As soon as I walked into class, I saw everyone emptying their backpacks. As I headed for my spot, I asked Ji Eun what was happening. "Someone stole the USB which contained the sheets for the Midterm exam." I widened my eyes. Who could've done such a thing?
"Everyone empty them right now!" The teacher looked angry. I've never seen him this angry before. I wish Good luck to the person who stole he USB! I sat down near Baekhyun and opened my backpack. I widened my eyes... "The-The USB.." Everyone gasped and looked at me like I was guilty. Worst of all, Baekhyun gave me the exact same look. As his Best friend I thought he'd believe in me, I guess I was wrong. "Baek Byul! Follow me right now!" As I stood up, I heard whispers around me. "No wonder why shes always in first place!"
"I'm not surprised." "That explains everything." I soon then walked away and glanced at Baekhyun one last time. I mouthed words out of my mouth. " I swear.. I didn't do this.."
