I laid in my bed, flashbacks of that moment where Baekhyun and I... I can't even say the word. I can't believe my best friend would do that.. Since when did he?? Baekhyun's name just kept getting in my head I needed fresh air. As I walked outside of the dorm, I went outside and saw the Moonlight above my head. Eomma.. your watching me right? "Byul.." I was shocked to hear the voice of Chanyeol outside the girl's campus at this time of night. "Y-Yeah Chanyeol! You scared me.." Chanyeol smiled, of course. "Even at this time of night your smiling." Chanyeol came closer and pulled me to the bench. " Lets sit down, my long legs are tired." He does have long legs.. Actually Chanyeol is getting taller now a days. "It's really nice outside today." Chanyeol looked up and saw the bright Moonlight. "Yeah." There was a sudden awkward silence between moments but, I'm guessing we're just tired. I can never get awkward around Chanyeol. "Byul.. Can I tell you a story?" I smiled hopefully this can remove my thoughts of Baekhyun. "Sure!" Chanyeol moved closer to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Well.. once, there was this odd, unique girl. She was quiet for the past 3 years! she had a strange personality that no one could understand. But all of a sudden, this girl broke out of her shell and started getting into other peoples businesses, including this guy. This cold guy from her class. I slightly turned my head, and without looking at where I was going, I bumped into somone.. Aish, who could be out at a time like this?! "Sorr- B-Baekhyun?"
OH GREAT. Is this all planned?! Why isn't anyone sleeping?!
"Byul, Just a moment!!" Chanyeol ran up behind me and grabbed my arm. I turned around and saw him out of breath, was he perhaps running towards me? Is this story really about us?.. "Let go of that hand, Park Chanyeol." I looked at Baekhyun and then at Chanyeol.
"I told you to stop didn't I? Because i'm just getting started."
Getting started? I'm so lost right now, I don't understand men.. "Byul lets go." Baekhyun pulled me outside the mens' dorm as we left Chanyeol behind.
I hate being pulled... As Baekhyun stopped us, we sat outside the Mens' dorm bench.
"About last night.." Baekhyun brought up the topic of last night, omo change the topic, change the topic.. " Don't worry about it! I Forgot all about it already.." I faked a laugh but he didn't seem to follow.. "I... I didn't. I did that for a purpose." Is.. my best friend hitting on me right now?
"Ayee, Baekhyun-ah. Best friends-" "Can't we... be more than that?" I swallowed my saliva.. Is he sleep walking?!
"Baekhyun.. you have a girlfriend." Baekhyun scratched his head. "Can't you just be mine?!" Omo... Is this really my best friend?! "I-" "Baek Byul!!"
I looked at Chanyeol running towards me.. no not you too..
"I wasn't done talking." Baekhyun grabbed my arm and pulled me behind him. "can't you see we're having a conversation here?!"
"Conversation's done. Byul, come i'll walk you to your dorm."
"Byul, don't move an inch." I stayed frozen.. How could this be happening to me?! They're both my best friends.. I need to get out of this fast. "I-I'll walk alone! Good-goodnight.." I removed Baekhyun's hand off my arm and started walking fast to my dorm..
"Aish.. why did I even leave my dorm in the first place?"
The next morning, I decided to attend to the Choir rehearsal.
"There you are! Finally!" I looked around and thankfully Baekhyun nor Chanyeol was here, i've decided to avoid them until I figure out what my true feelings are.. "We've just started talking about solo's!" "Solo's?" If this means a scholarship.. "All of us, need a solo?" Ji Eun nodded her head. "We decided to sing, "All Of Me." By John Legend." Omo, I love that song. "Alright!" I was confident with my english, finally coming from the states will pay off. "Sorry I'm late!" To my surprise I saw Chanyeol walk in..
"At least you made it, where's Baek-" "Right here." I avoided eye contact.. "We decided on the song we're doing and we're each gonna have a solo since there's only a few of us." Baekhyun smiled.
"I don't mind that." Damn it Baekhyun, your smile is... Sigh.
After a few days, our rehearsals have paid off. The time for the contest is less than 2 days, we must win! As I was walking to class I saw Baekhyun near the door, perhaps.. is he waiting for me? "Byul!" well that answers it.
"B-Baekhyun-ah." Baekhyun gave me a smile. "Wanna skip today?"
I pushed him aside. "We can't skip, Pabo we're gonna get caught." Baekhyun grabbed my arm and started whining. "Please!!" "Gosh, how old are you?" Baekhyun flashed me another smile and dragged me outside the school and to the bus stop. "Actually, lets walk." "Walk where?" Baekhyun held my hand.. as I looked at our fingers interlock with one another, Baekhyun looked at me in a different way.. A way that i've never seen before. "Where ever the road takes us!"
I can't help but get goosebumps all over my body. The way Baekhyun stares, acts, and smiles at me are very different from when we we're best friends..
Without resisting, I smiled and continued walking with him. "What do you want to eat?"
"Hummm, Beef! Buy me Beef!!"
I nudged Baekhyun's arm as he bursted out laughing. "Wae?"
"Ani, it's just that.. i'm so happy right now." Baekhyun does look his happiest..
When we got to the restaurant, An Ajumma took our order.
"Aigoo, your girlfriend is really pretty." my eyes widened. "Ah, Ajumm-" "Thank you!" I looked at Baekhyun and saw him sticking his tongue out at me. "Yah!"
"You guys are so cute! May you two be in love forever!" What's with this ajumma. It started getting hot, i started fanning myself. Why is it so hot in here?
"Hot?" "A-Ani, the steam is just getting onto me.." Baekhyun picked up his chopsticks and fed a piece to me. "Say Ahh." I gave him an annoyed look. "Ay, Baek EunByul!" I opened my mouth and ate the piece of beef. "Good girl!"
"What am I a kid?" Baekhyun smiled. "Well you are my Babygirl."
