Chapter 7

Amy's P.O.V)
As I stated to walk down the street, with only the street lights shinning on me. I had my arms crossed and was cold. It was very quite, your could hear a pin drop. All of a sudden I heard a truck roll up beside me. I turned my eyes to see who it was. It was my friend Devon! We have been friends since pre- K! I was so happy to see him. I walked up to his window and looked at him. My smile slowly went away. When I noticed he was stoned and had a case of beer beside him,
"Hey babe where you headed?"
He said in a ratchet voice. I said nothing and slowly backed away and started walking away from his truck. I heard him pull up beside me again, "Do you need a ride?"
I started to walk a little faster. He then scuffed and drove away. I put my head down and stared at the ground trying to hold back tears. I got to the park and sat down under my favourite tree. I curled up in a little ball. I tried to gather my thoughts, but the more I tried, the more angry I got and sadness started to build up inside me. I put my chin on my knees and started to cry. I felt so stupid because I forgot my leather jacket... my only damn jacket I bought myself at home. So all I had on was my long sleeve fox shirt. I shivered as I was crying. All of a sudden I heard footsteps. I looked behind me and saw nothing. I then heard it again but closer to me. I looked all around me. I thought to myself 'it's probably just a squirrel or something' I shook my head and curled up again. I then felt the presence on someone behind me. Before I could look a hand grasped my shoulder.
