"So, you remembered what we practiced right?" Emily asked while combing her fingers through her hair.

I sighed," Yes em, after fifty times of you repeating the same damn thing Im pretty sure I know what to do."

She stopped walking and turned to face me,"What do you mean,'pretty sure' you cant be pretty sure Lucy you have to be sure-"

"Abigail!"

I turned around to see Cameron running towards us.

"Hey babe and Emily," He says while wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Are you okay? I swear Ian can be an ass sometimes-"

"All of the times," Emily murmured.

Cameron nodded his head." Yeah."

The sound of the clock ticking blocked off the silence. Emily had her head down, still feeling depressed with my eyes on her, Cameron looked around obviously feeling out of place.

"Oh right." Cameron zipped open his bag and took out a wrinkled food paper bag.

"Here. Thought you would be hungry. " Cameron grinned and gave the bag to Emily.

Emily looked up and smiled genuinely to Cameron, accepting the bag. " Thanks douchebag."

"No problem."

I smiled. Then realised something. Where's my food? Gasping, I slapped Cameron's arm off my waist.

"Where's mine?" I folded my arms.

Cameron frowned then smiled and took out another paper bag from his bag and handed to me.

Immediately, I snatched the bag from him and opened the bag to see what was inside.

"Aww you got me macaroni and cheese? Thanks babe." I tipped toed to give him a peck on the cheek.

Cameron smiled and was going to wrap his arm on my waist when his phone rang. Quickly excusing himself, he gave me a peck on the cheek before answering the call, his voice in a business tone and went out the school doors.

Emily and I leaned against the lockers and sat crossed legged on the floor side by side, eating the lunch we missed.

" So how's Cameron so far?" Emily asked and wiped he mouth with her hand.

I chewed the remaining food left in my mouth and swallowed before replying." He's fine I guess. But he's getting stressed from all the new duties he has to do."

Emily nodded and we both went back to eating our food and occasionally start a light conversation.

The rest of school hours, Emily and I have successfully avoided Ian at every cost.

And finally school was over. I leaned against Cameron's car and played with a random game on my phone while waiting for Cameron. After fifteen minutes of waiting and Cameron was still not here, I started to get worried. I dialled his number and waited for him to pick up but instead  a robotic voice said that he was engaged at the moment and to call later.
