Tears welled up in my eyes as I exited the room. My vision was slightly blurry from the tears that was never ending. No matter how hard I tried, the tears just wouldn't end.

I heard some noises outside of Cameron's room. I turned around, stunned from the noise. Slowly, I walked over to the giant doors. I raised my hand to the door and curled my hands, ready to knock.

Don't. Let him be.

I closed my eyes and looked away. I brought my hands down to my chest and hugged it with my other hand. With a heavy heart, I walked away slowly.

The girl that was previously at the reception counter smiled politely at me. But her eyes turned concerned when she saw my red eyes.

"Are you okay?" She asked with a concerned voice.

I wiped my eyes and nodded gently at her. "Yeah I'm fine."

Noticing my discomfort and uneasy state, she softly nodded her head and smiled again before going back to her work.

I walked over to the elevator and waited patiently for the lift to arrive.

How could he do this to me?

After all the years of our friendship, all the trust, all of our promises, and he didn't trust me?

Yes maybe he didn't want to tell me maybe because of how I'm going to react or because he was nervous or because I might leave him because seriously who wants to get married at the age 17?

But I did. For him I would. After the few information about the company he explain to me after proposing, I understood that the company was important to his family.

I would be the crazy teen that would give up her first ever marriage to my best friend for his company. Because I would do anything for him.

For my best friend. For my boyfriend. For my everything.

And while I would do anything for him, he couldn't tell me that there was a contract? That I could only get divorced after a year? That my life would totally change? That I would have to dedicate my life to this company? That my life wouldn't be the same after the whole world knows that I would be the wife of the new CEO of the company?

I heard a ding and looked up to see the lift with a guy that looked like he was in his early twenties in a suit that was using his phone. I walked in and pressed the closed button.

As the lift went down I could feel the eyes of the man turn to my direction. Feeling a little uneasy, I shifted to the side of the lift.

For some reason, I had a feeling that he was still looking at me. Instantly I looked over at him and saw him staring at me. After realising that he was caught, he cleared his throat and turned away.

I raised my eyebrows but didn't say anything and just stared on the floor.

He cleared his throat again."Hi."

I turned to see him looking at me again but with a friendly smile on his face. Deciding to be nice, I returned the smile.

"Hey." I answered softly.
