I walked down the hallway. Feeling slightly uncomfortable not having anyone walking beside me.

I sighed. I however was used to this for the past few years in high school. With Cameron having his past 'flings', I used to walk alone or walk with Emily.

Unfortunately, Emily called in sick and being the introvert that I am, Emily and Cameron were my only close friends. Yes I have other friends but we weren't close enough to tell secrets or anything. Just friends that I've made in classes and would just have friendly conversations together.

Before the bell could ring which would indicate that the first period was going to start in a few minutes. I quickly closed my locker and hugged the thick textbooks that I just took out to my chest. I kept my eyes focused on the ground, obviously not paying attention to where I was walking to. My blonde locks fell down to either side of face, building a curtain over my face.

The pads from my flats padded onto the floor softly, easily blocked out by the loud chatters of students and loud footsteps. Just as my foot was going to step onto the floor again, my body bumped into a hard wall. Due to the sudden bump, I clumsily dropped my books onto the ground.

A wall? In the middle of the corridor?

I felt hands wrap themselves onto my upper arm, steading me and preventing me from falling onto my butt. I looked up from the floor to see who I bumped into. There stood Jake holding onto me while Kaden, Hunter, Ian stood behind him, all of them looking at me with surprised and worried expressions.

"Thanks," I muttered.

Realising that his hands were still on my upper arm after a minute, Jake pulled away and scratched the back of his head nervously.

I blushed embarrassingly and bent down onto the floor to pick up my textbooks. They bent down too to help me.

Once again I thanked them politely.

We all stood there awkwardly, none of us knowing what to do next.

"What happened to you?" Kaden asked, breaking the silence between us.

I looked up from the floor again to stare at Kaden,What do you mean?"

"No offence sweet cheeks but you look horrible. With your raccoon eyes and pale skin." Ian added.

"Thanks for the compliment," I say sarcastically.

The rest of the guys glared at Ian while he just raised both his hands in the air with wide eyes while taking a few steps away for them.

I shook my head," Its fine. I know I look like some inedible potato right now. I don't really care anyways." I looked down onto the floor, suddenly interested in the marble floors.

"Did something happen between Cameron and you?" Hunter asked.

I looked up to stare at them," Uh."

"- we figured something happen after Cameron's office was basically thrashed when we went to see him.Papers were everywhere, his desk was pushed to the floor together with his chair, his curtains were ripped. Plus Cameron's been working like mad and wouldn't even get out of his office to eat or do anything other than to go to the toilet." Hunter explained.

So thats the noise that I heard in his office.

I brought a hand up to my mouth to cover it. my eyebrows raised in shock," Oh god that sounds horrible."
