4 Months Later - February 11

"Oh god!" I shout, my hands resting on my stomach as the pain became more intense.

"Fuck," Luke groans, his face showing that he was obviously stressed out. "I'm going as fast as I can, Kat. Of course there's traffic."

"Luke, hurry!" I yell at him, my eyes letting go of a few tears, "I think my water is about to break!"

"We're almost there, baby. Hold on as much as you can."

"Luke!" I yell, my hair falling into my face as he turns into the parking lot of the hospital.

He parks quickly, hurrying to get me out of the car and into the building.

My water breaks, the intensity of the pain building much more.

"My girlfriend's water just broke, we need a room right now," Luke explains to the woman at the desk, "Hurry, please."

-

"You have to push." The doctor explains to me, my eyes watering, "You have to."

"I'm trying!" I shout, my hand squeezing Luke's roughly, a small whimper falling from his lips, "I hate you!" I yell at Luke, a smile growing on his lips.

"I love you." He smiles.

"One more big push!" The doctor says.

I push harder, the pain stopping.

"Oh, wait." The doctor says, "Here comes another one!"

"What?" Luke asks.

"What?" I repeat, the pain soon returning to my entire lower body, the stretching pain beginning again.

"Push." The doctor demands.

"Twins?" Luke asks, a smile growing across his face.

"Luke!" I yell, throwing my head back and groaning loudly, and tightening my grip on his hand.

"One more big push!" The doctor smiles up at me, his face red.

I push one more time and the pain fades, the doctor smiling.

"That's it. A boy and a girl." He smiles, "Congratulations."

My parent somehow avoided me for nine months, so they never knew I was pregnant, and they didn't know about me giving birth. They knew that I was still with Luke, and that I loved him dearly and never wanted to let him go. They knew that Luke was my everything.

He sat in the corner chair, our son, Alexander Jayden Hemmings, in his arms, a few tears falling from his eyes as he looked up at me.

I looked down at our daughter, Andrea Elizabeth Hemmings, smiling widely at Luke.

"We made them," He smiles at me, "God, I'm a dad."

"I'm a mom, and I'm so happy that you're their father," I reply to him softly, my smile growing wider as he stared at me.

"You're gonna be a great mother, Kat," Luke smiles, his lip going between his teeth, "And I love you so much."

"I love this little family we have more than anything. Gosh, Luke. We need to move. We only have one bedroom in our apartment and we're a family of four and-" I ramble, being cut off when Karen and my parents walk into the room.

My mother frowns, as well as my father as they take in the image of Luke and I sitting in the hospital room, our baby son and daughter in our arms.
