*Well, here it goes. . .*
-Winter's POV-
I slowly woke up, listening to my alarm since I put it as one of my favorite songs, obviously being "Daddy's Falling Angel" by In This Moment.
Yawning softly while I crawled out of bed, I noticed that the heat wasn't on all night.
Well, of course I never noticed. I always wrap myself inside blankets, being a burrito before I fell asleep.
Why? 'Cause why the hell not.
As goosebumps started raising on my skin, I ran towards the thermostat, pressing it up to a comfy 70 degrees.
I walked toward my clothes I set up the night before, I glanced at my clock noticing it's only 6:50 AM. I sighed, knowing that I could've gotten more sleep.
While I changed my clothes, I was already getting nervous about the first day at the school.
What if they don't like me?
What if they laugh at me?
What if they call me things, like the school before....?
I looked down, remembering how the last school treated me. I didn't notice I started shivering until I snapped out of my negative thoughts. I shook my head, trying to be positive.
"Everything's going to be fine, just don't think about it..." I mumbled to myself.
After I got changed into my clothes, which were just grey skinny jeans & a Rick & Morty shirt, I smirked at myself in the mirror.
The image disgusted me. I quickly glanced away, & continued getting ready.
After putting on my makeup, which was just a grey smokey eye, mascara, & eyeliner, I brushed my teeth & hair.
Yes, I know, this is a weird schedule.
While I put on my black fluffy winter coat, my dad walked inside my room, asking me if I was almost ready because he also had needed to start his new work this morning which he has to be there by 7:30.
I nodded my head, & gave him a nervous smile, hinting that I didn't really want to go. He just smirked & walked away.
I grabbed my backpack, walking out of my room. I walked to the kitchen to make some toaster strudels of course, because they're amazing.
After I was done eating, my dad was waiting for me in the car. I glanced at the clock again, & seen that it was 7:21 AM.
While I quickly jogged to the car, I ended up slipping on a patch of ice & bruising my arm. Oh yay.
As soon as I got out of the car in front of the school, my whole stomach dropped.
So.
Much.
People.
And.
It's.
Still.
So.
Early.
My anxiety was starting to rise, while I was trying to find somewhere to be for a while where less people were.
I couldn't find any place. I didn't know anyone. I was starting to clutch my chest, because I couldn't breathe.
That's whenever someone walked up to me.
Black long hair.
Grey eyes.
Tall.
My vision started to go blurry with tears before I got to see the rest of him.
"Woahwoahwoah, are you alright?" The guy said, looking worried.
I tried saying no, but my lips wouldn't move. Then, I saw everything turn black.
I woke up inside a small room, with a lady on a computer.
"Oh, you're finally awake! Are you feeling alright? I already called your dad about this but he's busy right now so we had to keep you here. Oh yeah, my name's Mrs.Rue." She said.
My head was pounding, & the way she asked all of those questions isn't making it any better. Faaaaack. So I just stared at the floor, with a horrible headache.
After a while, I was able to say, "Well, my head really hurts but other than that, i'll be alright...I just need some tylenol or something. But it isn't surprising that he's busy, Mrs...Rue?"
She grinned softly, & opened one of her drawers, handing me two tylenol & pointing to a water fountain outside the room.
While I was walking, I seen this guy walk past.
Short.
Brown hair.
Hazel eyes.
Adorable lips.
He must've caught me staring at him because he stared at me awkwardly, & slowly walked away.
"Oh great, Winter. Now he's going to think you're a creep. Although you are. Wait....what..." I got confused while mumbling to myself.
After I took the tylenol, I walked back into the little room & yawned, wondering how long I slept. Today's going to be a long day.
*Okay this is one of my first stories, & yes I know it's crappy. Just please don't comment negative stuff. D; I'm actually trying~*
