The Saving

The Fight

"You" I say with clenched teeth "Yes it's me" the man says lazily as if he's been waiting to say that forever. I feel my anger start to surface as I take a defensive stance, he mirrors me and we circle around eachother. I take a side cut and quickly flick my wrist to bring it coming at an angle towards his arm which he clumsily blocks, I follow up with overhand attack and when that's blocked i slowly back away. "It was joyful killing your teacher you know" the man says " he didn't really put up much of a fight after you left almost as if he knew he couldn't hold me for long". I see red as I try to control myself, just calm down I say to myself channel the anger.

The man suddenly charges me throwing out a combo of attacks that backs me up against a wall, he brings his sword down and locks mine, pinning me to the wall "ya know that sister of yours is a fancy thing also" he says snidly. I feel myself lose control as I see everything clearly and I come up with a plan in less then a second. I cast a wind charm pushing him away and catching him off guard and slash at the pocket which he still has his amulet in it still, breaking it, then I throw a side cut and slice his stomach and quickly recover to bring my sword down onto his shoulder instantly cutting off his sword arm. I quickly pull back and stab him in the heart and stand over him staring at the demon who is watching with a bored look on his face.

"Let my family go" I say, the demon looks at me for a second "no" he says "I will give you your family if you do 1 of 3 things, 1 you give me the artifact 2 you give me back my faithful companion Tara or 3 you beat me in a battle to the death". Without thinking I say "I'll take the third", "i was hoping you would say that" the demon says as he takes a more human appearance and walks to me picking up the orange blade that the man I just killed dropped.

He keeps walking and without missing a beat does an overhand cut and then when blocked unleashes a combo of moves that leaves me reeling backwards frantically blocking each of them loosing more and more strength as he batters me down. Finally I have no more strength left and drop to my knees as my sword drops from my hand, "your pathetic" the demon says "you come in here kill one of my men and then can't last 5 minutes in a fight" at these words he raises his sword and suddenly is interrupted when lucas casts a spell that throws him back and steps in front of me. He starts casting a death spell but the demon is faster and they finish at the same time sending flares into eachother.

Time is frozen as I see lucas falling backwards and land on his back, feelings rush to me as I feel an energy that I've never felt before course through me and I grab my my sword and rush to the demon who has killed my master. "He couldn't kill me if he tried" the demon says as he gets up "Oh not you again" he says sarcastically. He throws a death spell at me and I feel the energy that's coursing through me make it glance harmlessly past, the demons eyes get really wide and he starts reeling back to his throne turning into his big self again. I quickly hold my hand out and he starts to shrink back again and is shoved down to his knees, I walk up to him and bring my sword at a swipe cutting off his head and then stab him in the heart.
